I saw U2 Live on Stage at Roskilde Festival, the same Year, at Age 16 as a young Punk RockStar, together with other ecstatic Souls, like my sadly missed dear old Friend, Master Fatman & The Freedom-Fighters

It's strange how a band so young can command such captivation over the audience. Like or loathe him, Bono really had a really mature, philosophical, and poetic mind for such a young man, with such confidence!

Amazing song, beautiful lyrics and outstanding performance! Bono is so sweet while talking, always smiling and shining! Wild boys with great passion and energy, ready to change the world!

It was my first ever concert. I only went to see the Police but have followed U2 ever since. I remember wondering what all the t-shirts with the young boys face were all about

Wow wasome croud for that early Period of U2. I mean the U2 Fans of that time shurely were great, but what do you think how many in that crwod have geard of U2 before the concert?
@sunondalyons733 жыл бұрын
Most had heard of them. I bought my first U2 album, Boy in 1980. 11 o clock tick and other U2 songs were on college radio nation wide. And they had played a few American dates leading up to this show and eventually Red Rocks a year later.
