How do you get that to happen in the past? That never happened for me. I only faced them on Ch 15.

@@puffles5535 In order to get this to happen you need to have a new save file and you ask Zetta some questions at a certain point in the game when you're in GDC in the Nightmare

For those that don’t know this fight happens (spoilers below)…. in ch13 if in ch11 you answered three questions during one of the dreams correctly. This fight replaces Gardevoir and is fought alongside Ren.

@@HungryTaco34 No, only when you fight gardevoir in the sanctum beneath hiyoshi city. And only if you already have a save file that has completed chapter 15 (aka you got Saki's gym badge).

... so I'm starting to realize an admittedly immediate problem tied to these rifts that might become problematic later. ...curse and attract cannot be removed, thus just get a banette on the job.

I dunno about attract but there are a couple bosses that remove curse actually! Idr exactly who they are I just know they exist

Coffee Gregus and Totem Cofagrigus remove Curse as well as several Renegade exclusive bosses, there is a shield break effect that does that.
