Song Fact: MY GOT DAM MUSICAL MAGNUM OPUS FOR V13. i am so, SO proud of this song, i spent a lot of time on it and i even fuckin bought a whole ass guitar VST for it just so i could achieve exactly what I wanted to do with this song. I really do hope that people enjoyed this song as much as I'm happy with how it turned out.

My favorite song when I played V13. Still my favorite song in V13.5, especially with the revamped MoN fight. Now that *very battle itself* is my favorite segment of rejuvenation period - with the speed up on you get an extremely high-tense, fast-paced, nerve-wracking yet not impossible fight. I also loved all the field transitions and the individual "parts" and the flavor text saying nightmares coming true and. I just loved it so much

I finished v13 tonight after playing through the entire game again (for the second time) and I have to say I'm blown away, it's safe for me to say that it's project like these that keep my passion for Pokémon alive despite being completely detached from the main series of games. It's been an amazing journey and I have no words to describe how excited I am to play more in the future. Thanks for the incredible experience and great job on everything you guys have done so far!

Reborn and rejuvenation have single handledly kept me a Pokémon fan. The main line games are dead in my eyes, soulless dead existences being dragged along by a company that only wants money. Fan games like these, you can feel the passion in each and every small detail you find, the way the story pieces together, the side quests, the extra dialogues you get by playing the game in different ways, it’s amazing, it’s insane. If these were actual games, I’d pay 3x triple A prices for them. I’ve sunk 300 total hours into both reborn and rejuvenation. I can’t wait for the upcoming conclusions to both their stories (and the supposed extremely long post games for both)

I love both of those gameplay wise but Rejuvenation has surpassed Reborn in terms of the story. Imo that is. I feel Rejuvenation used to be behind Reborn in terms of story in the past, but now it is much more fleshed out. If Reborn had extra dialogue options of varying goodness/badness like Rejuvenation and made us as the player actually connected to the story in a meaningful way, then it could surpass Rejuvenation. But it didn’t do that. I wish it did. Reborn is still fun but I love Rejuvenation so much more now that it’s almost complete.

It might just be me coming from an Ys high (I literally just this morning finished Ys X: Nordics), but I get some pretty heavy Ys vibes from this theme--that guitar VST, the overall composition, the surreal events leading up to this battle as well as the battle itself, are all very reminiscent of stuff you tend to hear/find in the Ys series, specifically in the final endgame stretches. Hell, playing as the Interceptor, you might as well be Adol Christin--all the day down to his terrible luck with ships.

Okay, genuine question. I cannot for the life of me stand Pokémon games. I've only beaten Sword and Legends Arceus out of obligation for a friend, and I was bored out of my mind throughout most of both. ...With that said, this sounds really dang good and everything else I've heard about this game sounds great. Should I play this?

So I obviously can't give a completely unbiased response to this given I'm one of the devs, but just to give you a general idea of what to expect; Rejuvenation is essentially a JRPG in a Pokémon sleeve. It's more challenging (with two difficulty modes) and is *far* more story driven than regular Pokémon games. It gets going from the start and has about 100+ hours worth of gameplay at the moment, which includes both the main story *and* its abundance of side content (which is highly recommended to do as well!) On a more technical side, it makes use of Reborn's field effect system (which, in short, activates certain abilities and boosts/reduces the effectiveness of certain moves depending on the field), which adds extra depth to battles-and also has its own unique boss battle system that makes fights against singular boss Pokémon more engaging as well (i.e. type/moveset changes, stat changes etc). There's also a lot of QOL passwords that can reduce the amount of time spent grinding or decreases/increases the difficulty even further. So if any of these things seem appealing to you, then yeah, you could check it out! It'd be amazing if Rejuv could help you change your mind on how you view Pokémon games ☺️ Of course, if it doesn't, then that's fine too. But it would've at least been worth a shot!

Well, the 100+ hours is certainly intimidating, but I’ll admit the story focus has me intrigued, since the plot was the only thing I enjoyed out of both Sword and Legends Arceus. Oh, screw it. Why not. Worst case scenario is I don’t like it. Probably not going to try it out until a few months from now since I currently have several other games I’m already trying to beat, but at some point in time, I WILL try this game out. Thanks for the encouragement, as well as helping to make this monstrosity in the first place. I hope I’ll be able to come back here in a year or two with good things to say about it!
