There have been some crazy powerful Pokémon throughout Pokémon history especially in Pokémon Emerald Elite Redux but nothing can compare to Primal Cascoon. Learning only 7 moves I will be going over how it's ability Angel's wrath effects them, where to find the purple orb and how to get primal cascoon for yourself. I don’t really work much on ER now, but I was one of the few devs who cooked up Primal Cascoon’s stats. Angel’s Wrath was my favorite idea I’ve ever done. Btw, you didn’t mention that every move has a power boost. Also, unless they changed it, Electroweb drops the speed stat by 12 stages. Which means even a mon at +6 will drop to -6 instantly.

Worth pointing put that increasing your defence by 2 stages and reducing your opponent's attack by 1 is not the same as raising your defence 3 stages. 3 stage defence boost: 2.5x defence. When they would normally deal 100 damage, you take 40. 2 stage defence boost 1 stage attack drop: 2x defence, 0.67x attack. When they would normally deal 100 damage, they deal 67 and you take 34. If you boost twice, a 3-stage change brings you up to 4x, which means you take 25 damage from an attack that would normally deal 100 damage. However, if you boost twice with a 2-defence 1-attack change, you are brought up to 3x and your opponent down to 0.5x. An attack which would normally do 100 damage would be halved to fifty by their attack drop, and then reduced even further to 17. In other words, upon a boost the defence buff/attack debuff system reduces damage by an additional 6% compared to the solely defence focussed one (with a Primal Cascoon having the better one taking 17% damage less per hit than it would with the worse one). The effect is even stronger for the two-stage boost, with an 8% additional resistence value, corresponding to a Primal Cascoon with the better version taking a massive 40% less per attack it is hit with than it would with the worse version. Tl;dr, i did the maths and its even more insane than a 3-stage boost.

What's crazier is Angel's Wrath can roll on different pokemon when you randomize the game. Granted you have to also randomly get 1 or more of the 7 moves affected by Angel's Wrath for it to help. But if you do, it's insane. I was extraordinarily lucky and landed myself a Necrozma with not only Angel's Wrath with String shot and Harden to take advantage of it, but also the exclusive ability of Dewleon, Prismatic Fur, which combines the effects of Color Change, Protean, Fur Coat, and Ice Scales. All before even hitting the midgame.

And yet in terms of theoreticals, this Pokémon ISN'T the maximum level of broken-ness. There's one thing holding it back- Adaptability and Color Change do not mesh well, so a better ability would be Technician instead of Adaptability. Unless STAB isn't affected by Color Change.

@@MegaFidough Although I was able to find the odd keystone, but it is only after the postgame, in the cave where is the fosil that you don't choose, there is an exit that leads to the hidden area of the tower where the fossils are.

Ill be honest I fought this unprepared but my Mega Aggron got out of the fight unscathed. When I won and got it as a prize I never really bothered using it as Mega Aggron is more busted than any sweeper in that game
