00:58 I have never before heard somebody explain this SO PERFECTLY. Perfect for my paper! ....What do you mean I "can't use this one, we do not accept tweets in KZbin videos as valid sources"? No but seriously, it is so annoying. I am factsponge. I sponge the facts. But then I have to go look up a source for every tiny bleedin thing I say. I know why it is, and it's a good reason, but often you just want to go "I know that it's like that because I interact with it in some way every day and I just know it's like that!" and just finish the fecking paper.

Ikr?! Finding sources for the theory/fundamentals part of a report has got to be my least favorite thing about writing them. Like, I understand why it’s important and I‘m grateful it taught me how to find reliable sources and conduct proper research but… I just want to get to the results and discussion part already!

Bro saaaaame. It's like I'm not allowed to just say something that is verifiably true, like gravity is about 9.8 m/s/s on the surface of Earth and yet I still have to prove with a reference to a peer reviewed paper that it is in fact 9.8 m/s/s still. If anything, they can already tell when work is plagiarised because of the software they use, so if I was legitimately trying to pass off someone else's work as my own, they would tell easily. I get why research is important, but goddamn, I just want to learn how to do things and then be able to use that knowledge for work. Also, I have to do a literature review first before I can start doing my FYP, which means I have to not only research a shitload of information on top of attending lectures and submitting other assignments but I also have to write out specifically why these papers are important for research and what my project can do. I don't want to do something new, I just want to get it over with. (I say this after having laid in bed for most of the day, not being productive, because I hate doing such a boring and mind-numbing thing)

Honestly I struggle with citing sources for water is wet or "X big event we all know happened" as well. But on the other hand I get why they make us do it. Otherwise you get "punt". What was punt? Well it's a famous country that was a major trading partner for the ancient Egyptians! And where was punt? Well... We don't know, we only have guesses. Because for ancient Egyptians it was self-evident where punt is and everyone who can read knows where it is, duh.

"Yacht" comes from the Dutch "Jacht" which either means a yacht, or a hunt. Because it is/used to be a hunt-ship until it got shortened. You pronounce the "ya" and "ja" parts of the words the same, but in Dutch the "ch" is actually pronounced, and the sound is the typically Dutch G-sound, which doesn't exist in English because it's to French.

Love to see Pettson & Findus make its way onto EmKay, it was part of my childhood, as a Swedish kid. I remember my parents enjoying one of the movies as well. It scritched my autistic brain in a special way, I think. It was one of those children's series that wasn't reliant on overstimulating colours, pacing and voices - just cozy and slice of life stuff. And a little fantasy with those strange mini creatures. Now all that's missing is Mamma Mu to appear lol (another series popular in Sweden)

3:07 I have a hoodie with a very large pocket with a zipper, and I used to fill that up with all kinds of bs; When this habit was at it's peak back in 2020 I carried masks, 2 AA batteries, a flashlight, a bus pass, keys, phone, wallet, a stormlighter, a "sheet(?)" of pollen allergy medicine, and a phone charger. On top of that I was always bringing a backpack everywhere, so sometimes my friends would compare my "inventory space" to that of Mary Poppins'. 4:41 This is extremely relatable. It probably explains why I was bringing "my everything" with me everywhere; "I have no idea what I'm supposed to do today, so I'd better bring everything just in case I might need it." 6:31 Yikes. Callout, on callout, on callout. It's almost as if the intended purpose of the video was to be relatable. 8:38 I've worked in the service industry, and that dirty look is most likely not a "damn, they buying liquor at 9am?" look, but more a "damn, I don't usually have customers at this hour, I was kind of in the middle of doing some prepwork/slacking off"

I went to self checkout and got flagged for shredded cheese. When the associate walked over, I asked her if it got flagged because it’s “sharp cheddar?”

Anyone care to join me in having both a Mental breakdown and a Metal one? A Metal Breakdown just means that I'm drinking, and screaming listening to Iron Maiden, Slayer, Black Sabbath, ect. Cheers! 🍸🍷🍹🥃🍺🤘👿🩸

@@kevinfloresjaramillo7009 Hmmm...I think I would have to stop drinking in order to start making my own metals at home. (I don't think that's going to be possible, at least not for the next four years!) Glug glug glug! Cheers! 🥃

6:51 Yo I've been working at a KFC/Taco Bell for years and it's been wild watching the prices just jack up, and in KFC's case, watch the amount if food go down. Taco Bell is at least stagnant in its quality and quantity. KFC's $5 meals are like $10 now.

I went to the movie theater once right after school. As I was thirsty as hell and forgot to pack water I bought a huge 1,5 liter water bottle for 15 cents. Entered the theater with my backpack and drank straight from the bottle completely chill.

7:00 if inflation was 46.8 percent for 15 years, that means that prices were multiplied by 1.468 15 times, which comes out as multiplying by 317 times. 31678%, roughly. If inflation was at 4.68 percent, however, that would only be about 199% increase over 15 years. Compound interest is crazy.

The waking up from your dream impressed is like- legit, I had so many dreams where I was exhilarated from the adrenaline pumping because of some zombie apocalypse 🐂💩 to something different like being in a state that is freaking close to the marvel movie level of experience and I felt like the dang main character 😂 Here's a little story if someone's interested: I woke up on a truck with some people I'm familiar with, but don't know are driving it, I had telekinesis powers which works half the time only when I 'focus' hard enough and had a whole fight scene and literally going through malls trying to survive zombies and etc, only to be trapped in the bathroom trying my best to tap back into my power to only be saved by someone ramming into the bathroom door with a pickup truck and getting in it before we all drove off (fyi, I also had a dang whip) 😂

3:19 - I must say that the size of the pockets and the number of them in the vast majority of their clothing turns them in a human aircraft carrier. My husband's winter coat pockets have enough room for a Boeing 747, a helicopter, a submarine, a Sherman tank, and a few elephants. (And when I get too cold, I just curl up into a little ball and he just tucks me into a side pocket with a zipper where I stay nice and warm until we get back home! And I just eat peanuts with one of the elephants while I'm in there, if we decide to take him along that is.) But seriously, he's got a thing of hand sanitizer, a little tub of Carmax lip balm, a flashlight, a lighter, a knife, and any other items he wants to bring along with him, including me, like I said he just tucks me into a side zipper pocket and I take a nap in there. So while some men do just have a phone, keys and a wallet. Doesn't mean there aren't utility dudes out there. (So I married one I can confirm they exist!) 🤣💀
