No but seriously, it is so annoying. I am factsponge. I sponge the facts. But then I have to go look up a source for every tiny bleedin thing I say. I know why it is, and it's a good reason, but often you just want to go "I know that it's like that because I interact with it in some way every day and I just know it's like that!" and just finish the fecking paper.

Bro saaaaame. It's like I'm not allowed to just say something that is verifiably true, like gravity is about 9.8 m/s/s on the surface of Earth and yet I still have to prove with a reference to a peer reviewed paper that it is in fact 9.8 m/s/s still. If anything, they can already tell when work is plagiarised because of the software they use, so if I was legitimately trying to pass off someone else's work as my own, they would tell easily. I get why research is important, but goddamn, I just want to learn how to do things and then be able to use that knowledge for work. Also, I have to do a literature review first before I can start doing my FYP, which means I have to not only research a shitload of information on top of attending lectures and submitting other assignments but I also have to write out specifically why these papers are important for research and what my project can do. I don't want to do something new, I just want to get it over with. (I say this after having laid in bed for most of the day, not being productive, because I hate doing such a boring and mind-numbing thing)

"Yacht" comes from the Dutch "Jacht" which either means a yacht, or a hunt. Because it is/used to be a hunt-ship until it got shortened. You pronounce the "ya" and "ja" parts of the words the same, but in Dutch the "ch" is actually pronounced, and the sound is the typically Dutch G-sound, which doesn't exist in English because it's to French.

Pettson and Findus is the English name. It's a book series.

Put fluoride back in the water so I don't have to pamper my mouth bones with three spa treatments a day.

I feel like people who are native English, that are impressed by how well a non native English speaker speak English often forget that its very easy to learn a language when you are forced to grow up with it because it gets shoved in our faces for everything I for one, never had an English lesson in my life, spelling mistakes? Thank the people who correct you

3:19 - I must say that the size of the pockets and the number of them in the vast majority of their clothing turns them in a human aircraft carrier. My husband's winter coat pockets have enough room for a Boeing 747, a helicopter, a submarine, a Sherman tank, and a few elephants. (And when I get too cold, I just curl up into a little ball and he just tucks me into a side pocket with a zipper where I stay nice and warm until we get back home! And I just eat peanuts with one of the elephants while I'm in there, if we decide to take him along that is.) But seriously, he's got a thing of hand sanitizer, a little tub of Carmax lip balm, a flashlight, a lighter, a knife, and any other items he wants to bring along with him, including me, like I said he just tucks me into a side zipper pocket and I take a nap in there. So while some men do just have a phone, keys and a wallet. Doesn't mean there aren't utility dudes out there. (So I married one I can confirm they exist!) 🤣💀

That is not a cowboy hat, that is Flan served on a really long plate. Or maybe cake.
