I love this so much! My husband and I started dating when we were 16 and I relate so much to Devin’s comment about the jealous toxicity early on and then how she eventually found her identity in Christ. This was me too. I feel like through out this whole video I was like oh my gosh us too. I feel like we’d be great friends 🤍 love y’all!

Same with the money. Been married 30 years and we have always consulted with each other about large purchases even though we had plenty. It is just respect. I've heard my husband tell people that I always talk to him before I buy something large like a TV or car. It's just what I do. I have no idea how much we have on the bank. I know what our inflow is, and I trust him completely. He takes care of everything.

My husband and I have been married for 20 years and together 22. We started dating at 17 & 18 and were married at 19 & 20. I wouldn't change a thing! I completely understand when you say as you get older being sad thinking about one of you not being here for the other due to death. I couldn't imagine living this life without my husband. As I get older that is my biggest fear. We don't have children so it's literally just us. I enjoy watching your videos! Keep being you!

Love you guys so much! From someone that’s an only child please take my advice and give Ivey at least one sibling eventually. Being an only child is the most isolating thing in the world. To Hunter being worried about Devin that’s sweet and compassionate of him but just because it happened with the first one doesn’t mean it’ll happen with the second. Just have to put your faith in the Lord and allow Him to direct y’all’s steps. Thank you for being genuine content creators💕

Only child here too! Let’s not tell them how many kids to have- it’s their family, Devin’s body, and no one’s business. I’m an only child and loved it, as it taught me how to be independent and strong on my own. Don’t project ❤️

Just found your channel ❤️ It is refreshing to hear you and your husband talk about your faith and how that has guided you both. In this day & time, it’s hard to find like-minded couples. I look forward to watching as soon as you upload! Devin, do you ever upload devotionals or Bible studies?

So I’m 40 and I had my kids 5 years apart. And it has been one the best thing I’ve done. I worried with my first that it was going to be too much of an age difference between each kid and they wouldn’t be able to be super close. I was completely wrong! My kids are literally best friends. And I felt like it gave me so much more intentional time w/ each kid and to really enjoy the their first 5 years. Because those are the most magical years, and they literally fly by. And I’m totally a sucker for babies and toddlers. And I got to soak it all in with each because I never had 2 small babies or toddlers at once. Like by 5, they are fully able to help out and get involved with the younger one. Anyway I tell everyone you do not have to have babies back to back or every 2 yrs like most. And not to mention what it does to your body as the mom. Lordy. I needed a 5 yr break. I had a ton of complications, and my first delivery ended up being an emergency C-section after 26 hours in the hospital trying to get her out. We both almost died. And they ended up injuring my spinal cord and causing my brain to swell. Among other things I had to stay in the hospital for a week before I was released. and then, even after I went home, I was supposed to only lie flat on my back for like another two weeks so my spine could heal, and with the brain situation if I sat up, it genuinely felt like somebody was pumping my head full of air until it exploded. So the idea of going through a second childbirth at that point was terrifying I needed that time off! Lol plus I gained like 75 lbs the first time. 🤦🏼♀️

My husband an I have been together since we were 13 as well.. 30 now with 3 sweet girls. ❤️ We were hesitant to have more after our first, but we always got one in Pre-k then had the next.. that allowed me to have time during the day to acclimate to life & provide each baby with that much needed one on one time that babies need w/out any interruptions from other siblings. Worked out fantastic for us. Love your wholesome content & story! ❤️

I completely understand what your saying about the controlling statement with bank account and $$. My daughter is around y’all’s age she and has been married for 2 years. She doesn’t do anything with their money, her husband does all the bills and she is with him when they go anywhere. Like I explained to her there isn’t anything wrong with it but she does need to familiarize herself with the budget he has in place and know where he keeps important information. I only advised that because they just bought their first home and he lost his father last year quite out of the blue very unexpectedly and no one in their family had any idea of what all accounts or where the information was. It took her husband, mother-in-law and siblings months to get it all straightened out. I understand her letting him do as he sees fit for them in their marriage as the head of their home, he graduated with a business degree and that’s his passion. I know even though a lot of people today don’t agree and that their freedom to do so. To each their own. You two are so darn cute and I just love watching your videos and shorts!
