The only people in “real life” that know I’m married are people that I personally told. Anyone else that knows, found out from my family’s excitement. I learned during dating my husband, that unfortunately you sharing your happy moments tempt other women to want that life from your man. My husband and I have made it a point to put up boundaries especially on social media.

But isn’t that a fear mindset?Don’t get me wrong I don’t announce on my relationship or what’s going on with my man and I on social media either we keep things fairly private (only our parents are ever in our business cause they - especially his give great advice) so I do agree about not having people in your business but I think it’s strange a bit that the reason you aren’t sharing your joy openly is because you worry someone will try to take your man? 😅 I hope he is not that easily taken 🤨?Not that that’s any of my business either. We’re private just cause people in our business is a no. But people are very aware he has someone and vise versa with me. I’m curious is this because y’all are older? Or younger maybe? We’re in our mid 30s and he’s my best friend and we don’t hide our love we just aren’t plastering it out for the world to see , so I def get that 😂❤

@@BiancaVie I’m just a private person in general, so I don’t care to share my life with strangers in the first place. To give some context about other women, I’m not worried about them taking my husband, but I do protect my marriage. Scenario 1: When my husband tells women we are married, that makes most women want to pursue him more in a very aggressive way. He’s shown me messages where the woman literally ask if they can be his “side chick “, and some want me removed altogether. We are late 20s, early 30s. Scenario 2: My husband is built like an NFL player, plus he owns a Real Estate company. Women frequently ask him for money and know that I am his wife. A few have invited him to “exclusive, private “ events that I wasn’t invited to, so of course he declines, lol. Scenario 3: He meets with female clients to pitch them on investing in his company, and they ask “is this the only thing you wanted to meet for?” When he says yes, their mood changes and they lose interest in the investment opportunity. With that said, some women are committed to breaking up marriages, so his job and mine is to put up boundaries to protect it. From our past experience posting brought unwanted stress and attention, so we don’t think it’s necessary to share. We send direct information to family and friends through text and phone calls.

What someone considers too much to share is subjective. I feel she shares more than most would but she’s given grace because she’s a content creator.
