Identifying . Can it be which or that? Yes. So , which or who can be used in both cases. Good work. Happiness is peace.

You excel. Repeating I know not to do. It even sounds strange

I may not always say it, but I mean it whenever I say it. Thank you, Teacher, for all the efforts you make to help us grow, and the challenges you encourage us to face to help us become who we are.

Hello, In the following sentence Who is she who /that talks to him like this? Which is appropiate between who and that?
@JeanietheEnglishTeacher3 жыл бұрын
This sentence is possible with either 'who' or 'that' but sounds a bit odd. I would probably say something more like, "Who is this woman who/that talks to him like this (or 'this way')?"

@@JeanietheEnglishTeacher Hi, I asked the person that posted this structure because to me is better who than that, but the answer viven was that after who that seres as an interrogative pronoun, which I don't know if that takes that role.

@@domybarahona8985 Domy, I'm having trouble understanding your sentence. It helps if you use single quotation marks when referring to a word. In terms of an interrogative pronoun, only the first word, 'Who,' in your question is an interrogative pronoun. The 'who' or 'that' after 'she' (she who.../she that...) are relative pronouns. If you would like more clarification, please try asking the question again.
