My biggest surprise about this walk, was how he didn't get stuck in all that mud.

Also I had to turn a couple settings down, my pc can't run this game on super ultra giga chad settings without stutters and fps drops sadly :( In case you were wondering why it doesn't look Super HD. But at least I can run it... so far. I mainly had to turn shadows down and raytracing off 😅

I'm glad somebody else thought of this. The ambience in the beginning is so insanely relaxing. I'm tempted to make an audio track that's just like an hour of sitting there, not walking.

Here's the song list if anyone is interested. I apologize though, I am not familiar with the track for Promise / Woodside apartments. Some of the names may also be from the original game since I cannot find the remake's song's names. I used this video to get an idea of some of the songs I may not know - Silent Hill 2 Remake OST - Full Original Soundtrack Preview 2024 (Full Album OST) Path to Town 6:37 - Forest Trail (This is the original song's name, I cannot find the remake's name to this song.) Road to Town 11:49 - Day of Night Shadows. (I think this is the slowed down version of the song, there should be an ambience video if you look it up. Down Town 23:10 - Peace and serenity (I think.) I hope this helps you music fans, and please correct me if I am wrong.

I thought the title 'Relaxing ambient walk across Silent Hill' sounded a bit funny. Silent hill is anything but relaxing! LOL It's kinda like 'Stay at the Bate's Motel for a relaxing night's rest!' I'm just kidding with you Loopy. Awesome as always!!! I love these walks that you take. :)

I think it really depends on your approach, if you played the original you know that if they stick to their own canon (which they mostly did) there is nothing to be scared of until you reach the town at least. The white noise and other sfx are really soothing and imo even relaxing

It is normal to feel like this, I feel you, the same thing happened to me and I'm 25 too, but we were only 4 years together. She left me 2 years ago and the first couple of months I felt exactly like you, wandering in the fog. Then I managed to control it and turn Silent Hill into a peaceful, fogless town at dawn. All for myself and my thoughts. Whenever I'm saturated enough after a bad day, I take a short mental trip there and just picture myself not trying to exit, but to enjoy the stay, I now can leave freely whenever I can. I wish there was some kind of technology that could take mental pictures and draw them, it would be truly beautiful. Just imagine the sun rising, seeing it run across the beautiful historic buildings with little rain puddles everywhere. What I'm trying to tell you is that, even if you think you're trapped there, you're absolutely not. If I managed to turn Silent Hill (of all places on God's green Earth!) into my own special place, you can too. Stay strong brother!
