Happy Donkey Kong December Everyone!
I'm not gonna sugarcoat it, DKC Tropical Freeze is one of the best game osts ever made, David Wise spoiled us rotten with the game's consistent amount of amazing songs. I truly hope the next DKC game will see David Wise return once more! Kinda sad that after almost 10 years we're still waiting for a new game to be revealed...

For me, Donkey Kong IS my Dark Souls. The challenges presented across the Donkey Kong Country series are some of the toughest I've ever faced in any platformer and I've pushed through every single one. These games are emblematic of the notion that no matter the adversity thrown at you, if you have the will, then you have the means to overcome it. And the soundtracks of these games have also gone on to reinforce that to me. Thank you for posting this compilation, I will treasure it.

I am relatively young for the series. First beaten the Country 1 back in 2015. In 2018 and 2019 went the second and third games in the series. Then Tropical Freeze then Returns. I've been a huge fan of David Wise OSTs ever since (2015). Since 12 yo. Though, life goes on and on, even if I think I'm fed up with DKC 2 OST because I havent played it for long and listened the ost too much, I still cherish DKC series and David Wise in my heart... It's the original uncompressed versions of the SNES songs. Basically, it's what David Wise originally composed for the game, but due to technical limitations of the SNES, the songs had to be compressed rather aggressively. Thus the difference in quality. That's being said, even the compressed OG SNES tunes are legend.
