Relaxing SOLO CAMPING by a Beautiful River Beach / ASMR

In this episode, Digger and I go back to one of our favourite camping spots, by a river that has a little beach. Digger loves to swim and run up and down the beach.
A fellow camper also had a dog, so the two of them ran around until they were exhausted. Digger, slept for the rest of the day!

Nice spot there Frank. Digger looked to be enjoying his time with his new play mate, being very brave going out on that log! I'm off to my happy place in the morning for 3 night's of me, myself and a campfire beside a river. Ute's packed, squaredrop hooked up, just got to load the fridge and my kit in the morning and I'll be away. Subs are climbing there buddy, you'll be a 5k before you know it!

Hola! Digger had so much fun playing with that other dog. She was the first dog he has played with that can run faster than him. He was exhausted by the end. We'll be back there again soon!

Wonderful video Frank! Watching Digger tugged at my heart. Last week I had to put my Black Lab mix to sleep. He was 14 and in renal failure. I couldn’t let him suffer. We had many many great hikes and camping trips together. Like Digger, Lincoln was that special dog. Looking forward to your next video and if Digger’s in it, getting my black dog fix.

I’m so sorry to hear that Chris. I dread all the time the day I have to let Digger go. I try to take solace in the thought that I give him a good life. Many dogs are treated terribly or even just ignored. He’s a big part of our lives…most things revolve around him🙄 I will make sure he’s on the next trip 👍

Great camping spot, Frank. I can see why you like it. Digger certainly enjoyed himself with his new friend. Being near water is always nice. The foggy morning was really pretty. Hope it didn’t make everything all wet. Thanks for sharing!! Hugs to Digger!

Those two actually ran together for ages, not just at the beach but in the camp area too. Digger loves to chase and the other loved being chased...they were a perfect match! although, she was a few years younger and lighter so Digger had to give up in the end. First time ever he stopped playing before the other dog. His muscles were so sore the next day we had to skip his daily walk! That fog was very thick and was like rain. The tent was wet but regardless of the weather, I always air it out when I get home. See ya next week!

Hi Steve, That is a great spot and so close to home…good place to drop the kayak in too. I think I’ve filmed there 3 times now! I finally started the diet for real, so to compensate for the pie and beer I just had the bruschetta…and a little wine 😎

Hi Charlotte! Glad your enjoying the videos!...I'll be back to normal uploading as of next week. Digger is a mixed breed. Im sure he is part Lab, kelpie and possibly Greyhound...I keep meaning to get DNA test on him, it would be interesting to know.

It took to long, it got dark the rain and wind came in and I had not even collect firewood, let alone got dinner ready or ready for bed

Camping is supposed to be relaxing but if your in a rush and the weather turns bad, it’s not fun. I always track the weather for the few days leading up to the camp. I aim to arrive with plenty of time to set up and I carry a dry bag of kindling and a few chopped logs in the ute 👍

As nice as it looks, how do you get to carry that stove and chimney?

Hi Jeff, The chimney and legs all pack into the main box…which is still quite big and heavy but I have room for it. I got it so I can still have a fire in the rain by having it under the gazebo. I also use it when the campsite has nice grass that I don’t want to ruin…like the campsite I was just at.

Hi Tony, not sure what’s going on. I’ve changed it a few times…I don’t think it’s that though. I don’t expect linear growth. I’ll just keep doing what I do and try to get better as I go👍

I like the look of the Ozpig but its a lot more money than the Kings stove...I didn't pay attention to the features, so it may be better. I like the large size of the Kings.
