Foundation Exercise for Health, Chinese Meditation, is created by two professors, Zhang Guangde and Hu Xiaofei, who summarised their decades of traditional Chinese health study and practice. It combines the wisdom of inner alchemy and the method of Chinese medical science.
The exercise lays a good foundation of Qigong and Daoyin. It improves the feeling of qi in the body and promotes good health.
It is perfect for beginners who want to learn the various kinds of traditional Chinese health exercises.
What is the purpose of Foundation Exercise?
1. Regulate and correct the posture.
The exercise will help you develop a comfortable, well aligned stance with regular, slow motion.
2. Understand the optimum breathing method.
Improving the ability to adjust breathing.
Learning how to adjust the mood and mind.
3. Enhance the feeling of qi.
Increase the sensitivity and develop the right understanding of qi.
Develop the state of ’being in stillness’.
4. Learn the basic skills of Chinese health exercises.
This exercise is a good fundamental study for further learning.

Deas Profesor, thanks for this video and art. I'd like to know if that exercises of the video could be good as a warm up or as a take of contact in order to make before a yi ji jing session or a ba dua jing sesion. Thank you.

Yes it is good for regulating your breathe. It helps you to make a good foundation for Daoyin and Taiji. So you can practice this more.
