U don't walk inside the walls where the bazares are to buy things. Not safe with the Muslims there. Hence it closes at 8pm. But very safe walking at night everywhere else!

I have been there once and let me tell me folks that it is AMAZING!! Honestly I cried if so much joy of being there! It was late evening and the moon was already up and it was such a view!! Plus Jewish people were very friendly and a lot of security therefore I felt at ease! By the way I am an Orthodox Christian female. I would strongly recommend all of you to visit! Jerusalem is such a special place you can almost touch history there!

The Jews did not reject Jesus because of greed but because Jesus did not meet their expectations of the coming Messiah. For one, they expected a political Messiah who would conquer the Romans but Jesus turned out to be a spiritual Messiah who came to save all people from wages of sin i.e death. His death on the cross was God's will. Read Acts: 2. Blessed be the name of the Lord God for now Jesus is Lord and Christ and is now seated at the right hand side of God the Father and we as Christians anticipate for His second coming; in Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

But had they read their Tanach prophecies correctly, they wouldn't have missed that the prophets (mainly Isaiah) stated that He would first come as a Savior for His people (He shall save His people from their sins), to die for their sins and be raised again. Isaiah stated he "would be cut off." That is a reference to His crucifixion. Then the second half of that prophecy is Him returning as political Messiah and judge of the earth. During His first coming, He said, "My kingdom is not of this world." He came to save men's souls, to the Jew first and also for the gentile. When He comes for the second time, He will bring His kingdom to this earth. Hallelujah, the Lord Jesus Christ be praised forever!

I would like to walk through the old city someday but your relaxing walk got me there first. Over the years, I looked through the live cams showing the western wall. I even gave prayer requests through Aish that are supposed to be placed in the wall area that you camera showed. Now your walk through has given me a good picture of what some of the old city looks like. If I do not make it there at least this is the next best thing to being there in Jerusalem.
