I feel the same way this year about Christmas. I don't know what to do to bring out the Christmas spirit, I have bought presents, put out decorations, decorated Christmas trees, and I've been listening to Christmas music. I just can't figure it out. And I do feel like you Colleen, like Christmas is coming in a week and on Christmas I will feel i missed the Christmas season somehow..😢 If you get the Christmas spirit let us know.

Colleen I feel the SAME way about Christmas sprit. The holidays are coming too fast this year or something. I decorated early November but my excitement only comes in waves and it doesn't feel right!!!! I'm hoping once I look at some festive lights and enjoy some traditions it may start to feel more cheery!!! Christmas 2024 definitely still feels off for me

I would never look at another person at a concert and judge them for wearing a shirt for that performer. I've heard of that being a "thing" but never agreed or followed that unwritten rule. I think it's dumb. Wear whatever you want. Growing up, I went to many New Kids On The Block concerts covered in their merchandise.😂 As a teen & adult I went to over 100 concerts pop/ metal/goth/ rock etc & sometimes I would wear their T-shirt & sometimes I wouldn't. The thing that would always make ME cringe would be drunk people acting obnoxious & women flashing their boobs. Especially if it's not a 21+ show.

OMG YES, to the toilet paper issue!!!! Three of my Grandchildren play sports and I never miss their games, but sometimes I have to pee so badly that I can't hold it! I have been to so many different schools between the three of them and so many have had such thin tp that I absolutely can not get a single square to come off! I will say, I always bring baby wipes with me in a little baggie, but there have been times I didn't refill it. Also, TMI. I have NEVER, EVER, EVER gone number 2 in public! And I'm 64 years old. 😂 I can not do it anywhere but in my own home!

There is a huge sense of comradery in the punk and metal scene. I’m in a wheelchair and every show I’ve ever been to, especially when I had floor tickets, there were people all around me, protecting me. Especially the big guys.

I go to a lot of rock/metal shows, (bands who were influenced by the hardcore scene that Erik was talking about), but I still agree with Colleen. Maybe it’s because I’m a zoomer with a bit of autism, but I really like wearing the T-shirt of the band I’m going to see bc I want people to know that that band is in my top 15 favorite bands and I’m a die-hard. I don’t care one bit if people think that’s cringey. That’s some outdated Gen-X way of thinking.

Not sure if you already responded to this question. But is Flynn allowed to play video games? If so, Animal Crossing New Horizons on the Switch. You can catch bugs, find Fossils, go fishing, and catch deep sea creatures. There's also a Museum to look at all the things you found or caught 😊 there's more to the game but maybe he'd love to play or watch it? ❤

Can confirm, the Denver airport IS hell on earth. Never felt more cursed with flight delays, getting gates switched miles apart multiple times, literally getting a call from my best friend with devastating news, probably more, all on one day. That airport is hecka cursed, I've heard it from so many people.

as someone who worked at in n out for 3 years , maybe la locations but we always tried to keep it under 10 minutes and kept “points” to make sure. also try at 3 in between lunch and dinner rush

I wear concert merch at a concert. Not all the time, but I did do it. I feel that the important is yourself and not what the other might think. If you want to wear merch at a concert, do it. We got one life, this is harmless, wear the merch and dont care about others.

I only went to In-N-Out twice. Once in CA and once in Vegas. I made it my mission when I was out West to go to an In-N-Out because of watching you eat them all of the time. 😋 I live in Indiana and we don't have them in the Midwest. I waited 35 minutes in Vegas at 11:30pm and 40 minutes in CA at 9pm. No 5 minutes for me, but the wait was worth every minute!

Definitely take the whole family bowling. Make it a regular thing so there is anticipation, progress and lots of chances to cheer for each other. Both my parents were part of bowling leagues. We had the arcade, concession stand food and of course bowling to enjoy

As far as band tees go- when’s the last time Erik was at a punk or ska show? I feel like as we get older people don’t care as much about what they wear at a show. In my younger days I wouldn’t wear the shirt of the band I’m seeing- but now I just don’t care and I’ve noticed that more people do it too.

Apparently (I didn't fact check) with claw machines and a couple of other arcade machones particularly the string cutting ones, It isn't about it being "rigged" per say but more so the amount of money you spent, They're set a certain amount before they let you win.
