I left a white pick guard in coffee for 6 days and it did absolutely nothing. I had better luck with turmeric and it only took like a half hour. It gave my a nice ambered effect.

I have heard of using turmeric. I did not have much luck with coffee until I went over the surface with a light gauge steel wool. Otherwise the finish on the surface repels the coffee. I have also read about using shoe polish or walnut stain.
