Four wonderful, caring, and thoughtful people sharing information on a subject no one wants to think about but everyone will face. If there were more discussions like this the world would be a better place as a result of people’s introspection.

(I’ve been a follower of Jesus Christ since my first memories in life.) I was one of those patients. That was back in 2007, advanced stage 4 cancer with back compression 5th vertebrae in my neck completely failed. PSA at time of dx was 3,280 with a bone scan showing +100 metastasized tumors from my head all the way down to my feet. Diagnosis gave me 2 months to live, maybe 3, if I was “lucky”. When I was transferred to palliative care the head physician had an admissions interview. Here in Sweden there aren’t many Christians and it’s rare to meet a brother or sister in Christ. But this doctor has a very strong faith and asks me if I would like to pray together. That was the most needed question I could get. Afterwards we both laughed some regarding my situation and agreed that my only hope was with prayer. Later when my prostate cancer “disappeared” he said: “This is what we call an unexplainable medical miracle.” Almost 15 years later my PSA is still at

In Christianity repent means, 'Change your mind', not stop sinning, when you change your mind and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ's substitutionary atoning sacrifice on the cross and rose again on the third day, then you will receive forgiveness of your sins

“Change your mind” includes turning away from sin and towards Christ.

@@kilgen28 No, that would be works salvation, we are saved in the very condition and instant we trust in Christ, there is nothing you can stop doing to be saved nor start doing to be saved, one only needs to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins to be saved. John never mentions repent or repentance once in his Gospel, yet is the most used to lead people to Christ. John emphasises that it is belief in Christ that saves us.
