If the ref didn't jump the best Canadian hockey moment never would've came about
@MrGittz2 жыл бұрын
That’s like saying “if Miller made that save Canada wouldn’t have won”. The ref is part of the game, same as any other thing on the ice, from the boards to the glass. Canada totally outplayed America in that game. The only reason it wasn’t over in regulation, the *ONLY* reason, was because Ryan Miller had the best game of his life. People seem to forget that. Ryan Miller was unbelievable for 99% of the game, and then he lets in a pretty weak goal. That was a 100% saveable shot. He made 2 mistakes. He played it into the corner with Canadas top line out & was beat on a no look shot. The ref jumping wasn’t even a top 5 reason why Canada won that game.

I think Crosby's reception and settling of Iggy's pass was the most impressive part. Iggy put way more into that pass due to being knocked down. Crosby showed Magnetic, Puck on a String, Shnipe, Heatseeker, and All Alone ZONE abilities just on that one play. The best athletes make it look easy, but anyone who's played hockey at any level knows - that play goes very differently 99.9% of the time if being attempted by pretty much anyone else.
