Hi Vijay, Wanted to give you and everyone watching this video an update. The veterinary health certificate from the muncipality is no longer required as advised by an officer from MOCCAE. Also you don't have to pay any fees for registering with MOCCAE now, you just have to pay for the issuance of the export permit or health certificate and the endorsement of the India specific health certificate. Also you no longer need to attest the declaration form as advised by the AQCS, just sign it and sent it to them via email. And one more thing you don't really need an agent to import your pet into india, you can get all the required information directly from the AQCS via email who will send you the required forms and annexures which you will have to fill and email to them within 7 days of travel and the NOC will be issued at no cost or say will be given for free. @@VijayMalkani You're welcome! I just arrived in India yesterday itself. Was in constant touch with the AQCS and yes as advised by the officer from the moccae veterinary inspection centre you no longer need the health certificate from the muncipality I.e. 2 as marked in your video, the reason given was it's no different from what the moccae is issuing so avoid spending twice they did away with it. Also regarding the NOC an agent is not required especially if you live in the cities or states where the AQCS already have a center, otherwise also you can do away with but what happened in my case was that since the AQCS guys were not there at the airport this time and they were insisting on visiting their office which was not possible for me due to the lock down unless I was willing to stay in Mumbai for a day or two which would have obviously resulted in me and my family getting quarantined I decided to take the help of an agent just to get the final clearance done that is the part where the AQCS inspects the pet and issues the final NOC. What my agent told me was to go to a local government veterinary hospital or clinic here in Goa itself and that I would have fill a form which they will send me once my quarantine period is done which I guess I will have to give to the government veterinary doctor here who would endorse it and send it back to them.

Has anyone recently transferred their pets to Bangalore, India? We are planning to travel with our 3 cats. AQCS requires 2.1.1 to be attested by MOCCAE. However MOCCAE is insisting they can only provide the MOCCAE health certificate with digital attestation. They cannot sign/stamp/attest an external document. However AQCS has sent me a draft document (2.1.1) which has been attested by MOCCAE AUH...but both Sharjah & Dubai is refusing which is very confusing and we are not able to move our application forward. Any guidance will be helpful...

Thanks for your appreciation. Good question. Clearance was pretry quick with max 15 mts. No extra charges required to pay. The Quarantine Officer just verified the Docs. That's it.

Hi Jay, when I received Daffy he was absolutely fine. However its been more than 18 months now he refuses to leave us even for a minute. This trait was not there prior. We used to leave him couple of hours with no problems, but that was it, no more now.

A question though - do these AQCS clearances for pets accompanying passenger as in-cabin excess baggage take place round the clock at the airport. or is there official working hours and the pet/passenger is required to wait till then, should the flight arrive like say 3am ???? Ok was SKUDO. Excellent cage, comes with detachable wheels and can be dismantled for easy storage. Ir was also durable. Its a Denmark product.

Hi Nehaa, US $800 was the only charges levied for my pet Daffy. This charge is referred as Cargo charges. I did not pay anything extra for the flight.

Sorry for such a very late reply. I don't know how I missed it. I did not sedate my Daffy. It's up to to the owner of the pet to sedate or not. Sedation is done by any authorized Vet Clinic.

Hi Saha. Sorry for late reply as I'm in a pla e where network is an issue. I have not experienced bringing a pet from USA as such I cannot comment. However obtaining an Import licence from India is common requirement. Rest you will have complete formalities of exporting from USA as per their procedures.

Bipin, I really cannot say about rules of Ukraine. But I strongly suggest you approach the concerned department in Ukraine and explain them that issuing certificate of health just 3 days prior to departure just does not make any sense as the validity of health certificate is usually 1 month. Also u need to tell them that NOC to import that is issued from India is valid for only 10 days. I'm sure they will understand.

Rashmika, Your question is in 2 parts. From Dubai to Mumbai I have explained in detail in my video. Now as I understand you want to take your pet back to Dubai after staying some time in India. If this is so then your scenario is bit different. There should not be a problem, however it will not be right to advice you as I have not experienced this. Suggest you to check with AQMS in India. I have given the link in the description under the video. They are nice guys and will let u know. All will be fine. Lastly there are Pet Relocation related agencies in India who could guide you but unfortunately I cannot recommend any as I have not experienced it. Thanks for understanding.

If u are an Indian citizen then there is no question of Visa. Do u want to take your cat to India and then again go back to Dubai? Your question is not clear? If you want to settle in India along with your cat just make sure that you ar an NRI, meaning your total stay in India should not be more than 180 days. Concerning NOC from India online facility is not there, as the original NOC has to be given to the Customs in India which is not done online. Hence u need to appoint an Agent as I did just for this purpose.

All procedures are same for birds or pets. Birds like Falcon are permitted to travel with the passengers. I'm not sure of pigeons.

Hi Sasa, I saw my Daffy being brought at the Baggage belt. So I approached the gentleman and asked him what is the next process. He guided me to meet the Animal Quarantine Officer. In fact, the Quarantine Officer approached me as I was standing beside my Daffy. He asked me to follow him where I had to sign some documents and that was it.

@@clifftondias9457 hi . Actually i uploaded the vetenary health certificate that i took from government health clinic. And in the other i just added it same. The guys at the moccae office are helpful. They can help you with that. Just make sure you have the health certificate from government clinic. And then submit it and you need to there at terminal 3 cargo. They can help you with that. Thanks

However, Air India may allow you to take them along with u on board. I also understand that Indian Railways too allow pets to travel along in First Class. Pls check.

Hi Vijay, My parents are relocating permanently to Goa from Oman and they intend to take our pet dog along. However we are required to land in Mumbai first with our dog and then head to Goa. I would prefer that my parents travel to Goa directly as they have mobility issues due to old age. Hi Jason I respect your concern for your parents. As you are required to land in Mumbai with your pet dog, it will be your Dad who has to take the possession of your pet in Mumbai and do the simple formalities. Facilities of importing pet dog are only available in major cities and Mumbai being one of the cities. In my knowledge it will be your Dad who has to take the possession of your pet in Mumbai.

Hi Jasleen, I can only suggest as I have not experienced bringing pet from Canada. However the most imp doc required is NOC from India. Luckily they have made it very easy and you can get it through email from Animal Quarantine Service Centre. Sir Vijay, I booked my flight tickets to India for 16 December and I’m doing all the paperwork from moccae & India by my own. The agents are charging rocket high price, out of my budget. Today I got my pets health certificate from moccae and import permit, but the vet said that the import permit which is Annexure 2.1.1 is valid in India only for 10 days (what does this mean please). Also when can I start applying for NOC from AQCS with all my uae documents or should I wait for few days more. What will happen to my import permit if I begin to apply today. Will it expire within 10 days of application. Please reply me I’m so stressed for over a month now trying to figure out on my pets relocation documents.

Yes the NOC from India is valid for 10 days only. Your Agent in India knows this. He will send you the NOC 7 to 8 days before your departure. Since you will be traveling on 16th Dec, you should get this NOC from India dated 10th which will give you the required time to fly before it expires. All will be fine if you have appointed an Agent in India to do this NOC formalities. Talk to your agent in India and he will guide you.

Hi Aamir, Better pls ask the Vet in Sharjah if their Certificate is accepted? I did not want to take any chance hence went to Govt. Operated Vet. Clinics. Another way would be to contact the MOCCAE office as mentioned in the video and ask them if the Cert. from that particular Vet in Sharjah is acceptable to them.

@@garimarazdan7548 Answer to Q1: It should be Health certificate from Dubai municipality. If they are asking for Vaccinating details ..... give them! Answer to Q2: Yes you can edit it to Cat instead of Dog. Now if the Format is still the same currently?, I will not know. I can only suggest to you is, fill the same Form and submit it. Only then you will know if the said Form is still the same and Valid or not.
