have been looking at the TM-2P for about 6 months. and a 4th for it. your videos have helped me make my mind up on it. looks like it will do what i want. what 4th do you have there it looks like the HRT160 and what did you have to do to mount it?

This is a feature I like in any of my bolt guns. I had a gunsmith install one in a short action I had trued and the pin that held it in place broke over time. What style/ manufacture. would you recommend that comes with a stronger pin so that won’t happen again?

That pin should generally be considered a wear part. If it’s a rifle that only sees a few hundred rounds a year, they’ll last a very long time. For our match rifles that may see 10k/yr, we replace that pin annually.

7:14 is that a roll pin in a blind hole... if it is HTF are you supposed to get that out?
