I've been watching Sorted since 2010 and I HAD NOT NOTICED this transition from babySorted to now. I guess when you watch consistently you don't notice the aging process, but comparing babySorted vs currentSorted had me SHOOK! BabyBen was all sorts of gangly awkwardness... it's great!

I’ve actually missed the simple one video one recipe thing you guys used to do, so this is such a treat. I’m not saying I don’t like your new videos, but this is such a good mix of old and newwwww. It has a nice throwback-y vibe, but is also comparing different versions of a dish, and as an assessment and proof of how much you guys have evolved. I would NOT BE MAD if this became a recurring thing. Loved it.

I love seeing the change in people. It’s awesome! Also Jamie, here’s my dad’s favorite dad joke. He only did this when he was going somewhere and I had to stay home. He would look at me, and in his best Terminator voice, say “you be Beethoven, I’ll be Bach.” Still to this day says this to me, and I crack up every time.

A little sprig of mint does not add any flavour/freashness. In comparison, a couple sprigs of coriander leaves adds just enough freshness. All James version is missing is a squeeze of lime at the end

When garnishing, always use something a) edible, and b) already part of the dish so throwing mint on a dish with no mint is a bit daft but putting celery leaves on a dish where celery is included makes sense

You guys should do a normal vs chef ultimate battle where the normals team up to make an ultimate dish and the chefs team up to make an ultimate dish. You get 90 minutes to make your dish. The judges will be people from around the office. Love you guys keep up the amazing work :)

I love redoing recipes that I've made for years. My mother started teaching me to cook when I was 6 and claims I was a better cook than her by the time I was 15 because she embraced my love of tweaking and playing with ingredients. I'm excited to start teaching my daughter how to cook (She's 3 and listens like a rock, so I have a while yet) and I hope she enjoys it as much as I do.

My bestie and I just took over the kitchen at the catering company we work for and are recreating a lot of dishes instead of just repeating the same things that were done 20 or 30 years ago. Its so much more fun and we save money by getting what we need instead of just loading up the walk ins. The dishes are better and we spend less time and waste.

This is nothing but pure nostalgia. It's so wonderful to see how much the channel has grown and evolved into something that is now a solid institution on the Internet. Can't wait what you will recreate in ten years.

The biggest improvement since 2010 is the addition of James in front of the camera inside of just behind it
