little story to the song. when mj was recording thriller, the band toto was also in the studio. one of the band members' daughter was bullied in school by a boy and she kept asking her dad "why is he doing that?" ... and one day, when quincy and michael was lookin for a balad. the toto member in the studio was singing for himself "why ... why .. does he do me that way" .. and that was the beginning of the song .. they kinda liked it and eventually it became the song humand nature

Props to you. Because I attempted remaking this beat in FL studio. And youre right when you say its washed in reverb. I struggled with that. This beat was heavily synthesized. I was doing it by ear and with little knowledge of how FL studio works or audio engineering. It taught me a lot. You did great for a first take!
