You cannot get button mapper for Toshiba fire TV. You also cannot change developer options to allow apps from unknown sources.

I can't find a remapping app that will let me change the channel up/down button on the Walmart onn Google TV box to fast fwd/rewind. I've tried this app, Button Remapper, and TV Quick Actions. So unless I'm just too dumb to figure out how to do it, then none of these apps have that option.

I accidentally assigned my center button single press to a web browser. Now when I attempt to navigate to fix the issue, of course the assigned web browser intercepts my attempts to navigate. How do I reset the remote back to factory settings without a working center button which is necessary to navigate? I tried the batter removal method. Nothing seems to work.

Everything works fine except for the fact , the moment I enable I the button mapper, the volume long press buttons doesn't work. As in long press volume + button doesn't increase the volume in 1 go and have to single tap again and again. For example to set a volume from 1 to 5 , I have to tap 5 times and long press doesn't respond in increasing from volume 1 to 5

Once I open boot Mapper on my firestick 4K Max, it comes up with the box to allow accessibility services and when I click Ok, it does not go to settings of boot mapper but just goes back to home screen. In your video, after you press OK, a menu appears on the right for boot Mapper settings. This menu does not appear once I press OK - just goes back to the Amazon launcher. Kindly advise

Have you tried to remap a button to bring up recents to 'close all' to help device not work so hard instead of forcr closing as i dont like to. No matter what i do with button mapper anytime i choose recents it will not work? Have a cracka mate, brilliant vid once again!

Of course on Smart TVs the app Button Mapper does not work, instead just it locks you into a endless loop repeatedly telling you to enable it in Accessibility Settings; the only way out of the loop is to uninstall Button mapper. So if you want to convert your TV into a house brick, install Button Mapper.

I thought that too but the menu which you need to fit is hidden behind the android settings , in there you will find the device settings, in there you will find the menu you look for. The last entry at the bottom is than button mapper After activating you can use the app
