The Vervet Forest is a wildlife documentary focused on the lives of the monkeys at the Vervet Monkey Foundation in South Africa . We join the orphaned and injured vervet monkeys in their adventure and struggles as they battle their way through the foster monkey mom program to become part of a monkey troop again. This channel is for those monkey lovers who enjoy monkeys living their lives as monkeys should.

Rexy seems to be getting better slowly but surely. It breaks my heart to see in his eyes, the look of sadness that he has is getting to me. Poor baby boy, I just don’t understand why or how someone would do something so horrific and so cruel. They may not be human but they have feelings and they are still babies. I wish that life allowed me to come & volunteer because I would probably never leave them. ❤

At 15:30, I love when they go into the feeding cage for their milk. It’s the cutest sound of them slurping their milk.😂 I know they are sucking their bottle but it sounds more like slurping out of a cup or something. So adorable 🥰

He looks relaxed and content, he's confident in his climbing, he's curious and alert, as you say, the only overt problems are his head tilt and diminished use of the one hand, you guys are champion rehab artists!! You could try and always feed him with the syringe from his "weaker" side". That will make his brain halves connect better.

He is doing fantastically well but I'm concerned about him being picked on in a troop because of his remaining problems. If ever a monkey should remain under human care and protection, Zach may be just that monkey.
