Yeah it's really a shame when people have bad mics, synergy also had this problem in their coop campaigns. But it doesn't bother some people so they don't really see anything wrong with it. I'll never get a blue switches keyboard myself.

I think Ace's microphone gets cut off because he has 'voice detection' and when he's too silent the microphone tries to cut him out because he's "too silent to be speaking", so the technology in the microphone thinks it must be background noise / echo. Well that or Ace's microphone has a damaged wire and when he moves it at a particular angle the copper wire is no longer connected for a few moments so no audio goes trough.

oh, WOW that would be a massive change in valks: the broodwar valks produce a wiiiiiide spread of 1-pixel hitbox attacks centered on where their target was a couple seconds before they started firing...and they were put into the game to counter tightly stacked groups of mutas being actively microed...which they can't be built in time to meet. the damned things are so clumsy and inaccurate that they don't even hit _carriers_ effectively

Of course Starcraft 1 Protoss requires knowledge and understanding to play properly! You have to be an expert in order to place your pylons effectively, and ensure that you don't lose power to all of your buildings when just one pylon is destroyed. I'm sure Artosis would agree.

Very stupid question but who's the 3rd guy talking? I'm certain I've heard him talk before, think I've watched a lot of his videos, but I can't remember who he is... So, here's the thing on the really long videos. People put the on to sleep, but a bunch of us put that same video on 10 times picking up with ever the last part remembered is to get through the whole thing. Don't know how that pays for the folks that have the premium, but watching 20 hours of the same video has to be worth something. And yeah, the same cost as lunch one day a month is entirely worth ad free youtube that still supports the creators.
