Excellent video MR! This is very helpful information. Another good remedy is wrapping a clove of garlic directly to each foot overnight. This does a couple of things: A) It draws out impurities from the blood. You will notice the intense discoloration of the garlic when you remove it in the morning. B) Garlic helps to increase blood circulation. In many European countries, they would actually hang bags of garlic up around sick people. They act as filters to attract all the bacteria in the air. Again, it’s noticeable by the intense discoloration of the garlic. Garlic and onions are good things! This is the first I have heard of this other plant though. Great video! You’re a real American hero, MR! 👍

I love your old-time remedy videos! The information is so valuable, especially at this time. I have tons of both broad-leaf and blade-leaf Plantain growing along my driveway and in my yard and I'm drying a lot of it to store for use when the fresh leaves aren't available. And, since I'm prone to chest infections, that onion poultice 'recipe' is especially appreciated. I've heard that an onion cut in half will draw out unwanted pathogens from the air. Thank you so much for sharing your old-time expertise, MR. :-D

Very helpful information. There are so many wild plants we can be using for medicine. I appreciate you taking time to let us learn from you. I wanted to add that plantain leaves can stop a cut from bleeding or to soothe a bee sting. Just crush 1 or 2 up or chew them into a paste and apply. Thanks

The only time herbal remedies videos are some of my favorites. It’s amazing that there is so many natural remedies that we can grown or forage that we’ve collectively forgotten about as a society.

I got stung by a bee while building our small get away cabin. I am allergic to bees, from a honey bee to hornets. I was way to far from the house on our property and I didn't have an emergency bag with me. I immediately grabbed some plantain. Rubbed it between my hands to get juice release. I spit in the crushed leaves and laid it over the sting sight. Very quickly the burn went away. I sat for about 10 minutes with the leaves on my arm. No more reaction, no pain, no burning, etc. These kind of tips are invaluable.

Hi 👋 yep. Good info. Thank you for sharing. Knew you knew lots of good old ways to get through . I've had onion plasters as a kid and plantain leaves I use for bug bites, too! We use jewel weed poultice for poison ivy.

Hello, my friend. I was just thinking about you yesterday, and wondering how you're doing. Hope all is well with you. 🤗💗🌺

@@JT-2012 hi my friend. There have been some serious health developments in the family and I've been told I'm not to share so I've mostly stayed off social media trying to do as I'm asked. Some of it's mine but not for everyone to know with kids I've not heard from in over 2 years. They shouldn't find out on social media. But it's all starting to look up now. I hope. I've tried to do Rudy's lives a few times but there's just too much input all at once. Besides he's just too busy. I'm really enjoying the prophecy fulfilled series at LOJM. Well gotta go now. Hope all's well with you.

@@edieboudreau9637 Very sorry that you've been plagued with physical problems but happy to hear that things are looking up. 👍🙏🙏🙏 I've been fine but the hubs almost died in Jan. He was between the hospital and rehab facility for over 2 months. He's better physically but his mind isn't right. It's extremely challenging at times. We got a new Bichon puppy at Thanksgiving. Her name is Willow and she's a tiny fireball.😄 I love my fierce pup to pieces. I pray your health continues to improve and that you receive many blessings. 🤗💗🌷

For those who were confused like me, this plantain he has is NOT related to the banana plantain you can find in the stores, it is "Plantago major", so give it a google like I had to.

Boy I wish I knew this 2 weeks ago when I got poison ivy the first time ever. I didn’t touch it or scratch it and it started to spread. I tried three different things that did not work and finally found a solution otherwise I think it would’ve gotten pretty bad. Thank you for the great info!
