I remember riding this ride like it was yesterday. The skies were blue, the cold California air hitting my face as I heard the clicks of the chainlift. We finally made it to the top, mom and dad by my side and as the train approached the first dive, I woke up and realized that I never rode this ride bc I was born in 1996.

A lot of people liked it, and for awhile it was considered scary and extreme. I remember going to MM with a group of friends for a birthday and all of us being scared as the coaster roared by, asking each other if we were scared and saying we weren't. I must have ridden this 4 or 5 times over the years and don't remember it being painful. Viper, on the other hand, knocked my head back and forth onto the restraints.

I never had a chance to ride this coaster (those times I went to Magic Mountain it was always closed), but it obviously was open during the time period I attended that park in since I visited both pre and post the installation of Goliath, which you see in several of the shots. If you go inside the gates next to bugs bunny world you'll see the fright fest maze condemned which is the loading station for flashback. I heard a rumour(dunno if it was true)that one reason they eventually got rid of it because they kept getting loads of complaints from people in the water park because of the noise from the ride, and even complaints from staff working there as well because it was too noisy. Never got a chance to ride it, went once in 2002, but ride was closed. Looks like I never missed much

I remember going to hurricane harbor in 2005 and seeing this ride, wishing I could ride it. Every year that went buy we would ask workers at the park if it would ever reopen and we never got a straight answer

It’s like Six Flags punished those who went on this ride by having the ride beat the crap out of them.

I was 13 when this was new and still remember the brain rattle I got riding that POS once. If you ever wanted to know what it would be like to take a left hook, right hook combo from Mike Tyson, ride Flashback at Six Flags.

This reminds me of when I build an awesome-looking ride in RCT2, but when I test it, it has horribly awkward pacing and doesn't perform like I'd hoped it would.
