Snowboard kids 2 because it handled so much better, I never liked I'm getting stopped by the brick wall that is an item box that I didn't have money for.

I only played "Snowboard Kids 2". I remember renting that game from Blockbuster, and I would later own a copy in the late 2000s. I even have this idea that "Snowboard Kids" deserves an HD remaster collection with both N64 games on it (with content from the Japanese-exclusive PS1 port included with the first game for free). A couple of new features I think would work out is if you could play as your Mii in multiplayer mode (don't know about Story Mode). There could even be newly animated cutscenes for the first game's level (since the first game didn't have a story mode), I just don't know how it would go.

you renting snowboard kids was my experience with snowboards kids 2. i loved the sequel so much and to this day is my favorite racing game on the n64

Hey, Coop. When my brother and I were in elementary school, we would play SBK 2 often. I managed to get copies of both games when I was in 4th grade. Not to mention, I spent part of my first quarter or so after school playing these two games instead of focusing on school work. I was that type of kid. I wish there was a SBK 3 because it would allow us to know where the story takes us after the kids defeated Damien.

Well you can reach the tunnel in grass valley with Nancy or Jam and the featherboard eqquipped. But there's no point in that because the floor has no collision. But it's nice to see that I wasn't the only one trying this. You can't find anything about it in the web. So thank you so much for your anecdote on that. 👍

Cannot believe we share many things about the game: 1. The mere fact that you are doing this video and I looked it up, we love this game 2. The music is awesome 3. I also thought that "tunnel" in green valley was a shortcut and tried to reach it so many evenings, funny memories 4. Mt mountain has the best music and I sometimes look for it on KZbin when I'm in bus or something like that hahah 5. Quicksand track sucks

Snowboard kids2 > Mario kart64. Story mode, customization, you can change number of lap 1 to 9 and replay 1 particular track vs stuck to a cup and 3 lap...AND the satisfaction to deflect items :D.

I've heard of Snowboard Kids once,I just thought it was an odd game in Atlus's history with Rayman looking Characters,it was cool seeing a fresh outlook of these 2 games and how much this weird game was for you as a kid

These games were and are cult classics. I love them and wish they got ported to the switch in HD form. Rather I'm also surprised Mario hasn't made a snowboard game.

I didn't get a Nintendo 64 until 2010 when I got banjo Kazooie and banjo tooie, And I loved it. Since then I've expanded my N64 games to stuff like Super Smash Brothers, Mario 64, Conker's Bad Fur Day, GoldenEye, Yoshi's Story and i might check these games out

Did you not learn how to do the blue sparkle tricks on sbk1? These tricks were huge when I was little. These tricks payed out more money than just a grab or a regular gold sparkle trick…I mean did you not wonder why characters were even ranked on trick level 😅 please look into this. You won’t be disappointed.

She was also Mr Dog in 1. And I love these games. Also Tommy and Mr Dog's voice actor Ari Ross also did voice work on Power Rangers.

I love the 1st game, but the 2nd game just feels so much better. The 1st game did have better board art and character designs though, they don't even look like they're going snowboarding in snowboard kids 2

Yeah, Jack Frost from Shin Megami Tensei is a playable character in the DS game, as well as Black Frost

Hope Atlus and Nintendo work majic to bring these two to nso, ik people were crying about it for not getting in over 1080 snowboarding, but don’t sh!t on that game either.

Snowboard Kids Plus is better in some ways and worse in some ways. The music is great, it controls wonderfully. The graphics aren't as good, but are still good. 3 new characters, plus one extra unlockable. The gameplay is a little slower, and they toned down the difficulty a little bit. Also some of items work differently, like the bombs you can toss behind you, the ice chases the other players better, as a couple of examples. I got my copy off ebay 11 years ago for $10 from Japan.

There's even a Nintendo DS version it's not bad but compared to the 2 N64 games & the PS Japan version it doesn't feel the same, I have the PS1 version too it's controls are weird & not as fluid compared to the N64 games, the second game on the N64 is my favourite. Great video
