The fact you think a qb that made it to the superbowl wouldn't get picked up as a backup qb just shows how foolish you are..If Kap hadn't taken a knee and draw all that attention to himself, he for sure at a minimum would have been a back up qb for some team riding the bench makimg easy money. The flag dates back to when men fought for our freedoms, the police had nothing to do with gaining our freedom, it’s the men and women who serve, who separates from there families for months and months, who die for the freedom to be able to do that selfish act of kneeling to the flag, from a view point from someone who’s in the military and away from family as we speak, this is one of the most selfish act I’ve seen. You don’t want to support the police alright, but show respect to the flag since it’s true birth is military

That's the most originalist take I've ever heard... Let's just bypass everything else or everyone else who wears the flag or serves in it's name since it's inception into America (like police forces who claim to serve the country by protecting it's streets) No let's just focus on the very start of what the flag meant.... There defo aren't more people in more occupations who represent and serve the U.S. what the flag is supposed to represent as time has gone on, nah defo not....
