Daniel Negreanu is the master of the read, but that doesn't mean he wins the hand!

Early in Daniel’s career he would call even when he knew he was beat.

That's also a way to get information. As long as it's not too expensive, it can pay off for a psyche reader like Negreanu.

The first hand is a pretty big stab in the dark because his range from UTG is a lot wider than just KK!! I do love the old DNegs especially WSOP coverage

If Daniel bet into the guy he called Aces on, that would have been pretty legendary. Cause he almost certainly folds. Dude called your hand from jump, and kept calling it out, that's an insta fold.

Now he's just a crackhead on coffee......the dude literally started drinking coffee 5 years ago and literally benjamin buttoned his personality....in his 20s when he was accruing value and multiplying his net worth by 1000x he was calm and cool and never gave tells like an old man playing poker would. Now he's on caffeine and acts like a 15 year old when he plays. Chit chatting and telling everyone his hands, giving away hugeeeee tells. Thennnn is so egotistical because of his amazing poker past which is true that he deflects and blames his bad fortunes on being unlucky and this and that while rarely pointing out the things hes getting lucky on.....its just funny I've never seen someone go from stoic as a younger person to off the wall by their mid to late 40s lol

All of these are pretty basic and fundamental reads. You know when someone has hit trips, or flushes. Show me where he lays down a full house when he knows the guy has quads and then we'll see something. This to me looks like old days kind of play, where you still would find fishy players at high stakes tables playing with pros, nowadays a big percentage of the players even at low stakes can read at young Daniel-san's level.
