He doesn't have the discipline to be a top contender. Once he faces real competition or adversity he mentally fades. He doesn't have that fortitude to put him through 5 round wars against top fighters. Even in this fight with Whittaker, which was one of his best performances despite still losing, he looked great in the first round and then slowly falters once Whittaker picks up steam. It's like his mental focus just depletes and he becomes lazy. He doesn't have that drive or edge to push him to the next step. Same thing in the Dricus fight, he was way more skilled and technical than Dricus, he was piecing him up on the feet and then he just switches off, Dricus takes him down and submits him easily. Till SHOULD have won that fight, with the skill and ability he has, but his mentality wasn't there. I think Till would really benefit from taking a zen approach, completely eradicating things like alcohol, partying and other distractions from his life, travelling to somewhere like Dagestan and just training hardcore for like a full 6-12 months. He need something like that to change his mentality. That's the only way I see him making a comeback

his body can definitely keep up with it, he just doesn't take the necessary precautions or a proper resting period. Every time he pulls out with an injury he goes to the gym as soon as he feels the pain is bearable instead of taking time to heal and rehab the injury properly.

This fight was amazing. the evasive movement and defense was THEE best ive ever seen in a MMA fight. They were like jedi, it was like a movie. Rock Paper Scissors logic doesn't work in mma and knuckles is prob the best middleweight on the planet who shows up every single opponent except for Izzy who he can't figure out. Plus you weren't watching the same Till as this fight but a shell of the man he was from injuries and mh issues. Plus rewatch thst fight. It was 1-1 going into the third. Till just gave up in the third after a really good 2nd round. Plus you're talking about du Plessis who get winded by the second round and relies on his wrestling fighting rob who never tires and is used to 25 min fights with WAY better wrestling than till.

Till clearly isn't as good as he was in the Whittaker fight, DDP also struggled like crazy against Till too so by saying "destroyed" shows that have no idea what you're watching. By using this same logic you could say that Rob outclassed Gastelum in a very one-sided fight and Izzy went to war with Gastelum in the hardest fight of his career so that concludes Rob should beat Izzy? Darren has terrible hands, except good 1-2 combo that he also darts in with, other then that its very bad, thats why he couldn't go further in his career.
