I was just watching him and his cute family on TikTok the other day. This is so sad. I hope his wife and his children are able to find some peace…. So sad this happened right before Christmas. depression puts your brain in a different state and you are not yourself anymore. The feeling you feel is so black that you can't see a way out and you can't see everything around it anymore. You don't like yourself anymore and then you can still have such a beautiful family and a good career etc. etc. It is unbelievable that someone actually does it in my eyes, you are then completely unable to think properly. They can't see anything anymore.

I remember watching him when he was on "So you think you can dance" I think most people thought he should have won, but he came in 2nd place. Put your hand over your heart on your chest and listen and feel it, no matter how bad you feel in your mind it wants to live! Don’t let the “thoughts of your mind” take control over your LIVE beating heart. Your mind and your heart are separate things! Don’t let the mind murder your the heart living inside you. If you are struggling, it's better to reach out to a stranger than any family or friend. I would say never reach out to family actually (even though every family is different). Call a hotline and just talk to a stranger for a bit. Never talk to family. I see all these comments about just reach out, just reach out. Yeah...if only it was that simple or easy I bet there wouldn't be so many going through with it. Reaching out isn't as simple as you guys put it.

I enjoyed this young man's gift of dance, from the very first time that I saw him competing on the "So, You Think You Can Dance" show and beyond. I would tune in just to watch him perform. I always felt his infectious smile and welcoming personality when he appeared on other shows. This is just so sad and I send my condolences to his family. I’m not shocked by this because unfortunately there are plenty of people who put their best face forward and are dealing with a mental health crisis behind the scenes. Some don’t talk about mental health issues they may be experiencing because of the stigma associated with it. Some reach out and get help but some continue to struggle behind closed doors until they reach their breaking point. I don’t judge anyone because I don’t know what they’re going through but I was told long ago to never make a temporary situation permanent and I live by that and that’s one of the reasons I’m still here.

Please don't blame him. Many people expect us to look disheveled or manic-depressive but we appear normal and self sufficient. But sometimes a deep depression hits us out of know where. The scariest is when everything is perfect and going well but out of know where the feeling takes hold. Many of us are on borrowed time simply waiting to get the courage. I think it's a sickness in our mind.but we don't feel comfortable telling others as they judge or assume. We shy away from professionals because we feel we can't be honest that they too are judging us or wanting to commit us into a psy ward. It's different for everyone and everyone is unique but I know about this feeling. A knowing that one day it will win. Please call the national suicide prevention number if anyone is spiraling down the tunnel of sadness. It works. Blessing to his family.may they it was not their fault but our own sickness

In Twitches actions you can tell he’s just genuine in answering questions but no one seemed to ask him how he was actually doing. We tend to hide the things we feel because people don’t really care to know. He gave his best and hid his worst. Sending prayers and condolences to the family.

Dude.... don't be a putz. His entire persona was "middle aged-elderly women watch me dance sometimes on a daytime show" he couldn't be seen as anything else unless attached to a different project, and having a meltdown whenever you're interviewed "my wife is a total B, and Ellen was slowly removing me from the show" is bad for career opportunities. Because now you look unstable. Also "how are you doing" is typically asked before the camera is started, it's a greeting. It can also be in the very beginning of clips where audio isn't stabilized.

You have to be in a very dark place to take your own life knowing that you will be leaving a wife without a husband and children without a father. I came close recently, I have been out of work for over 2 years because my boss closed shop and after a recent unsuccessful job interview, I was depressed and almost took my life. I shared it with my wife and it broke her. Never say that suicide is something that you wouldn't do, I said that and almost went through with it. The days are still dark for me but I am hanging in there and I can't make this about me, it's about mourning the loss of Twitch, I only shared my personal experience to help people understand that no one is immune to suicidal thoughts when difficult times unexpectedly happen or when suffering from mental illness or depression. RIP Twitch, you were a heck of a guy and will be missed.

I'm from the Netherlands and when I saw this news I was immediately shocked. He was so nice and kind and I still see him at Ellen's with his son. He had such a wonderful beautiful family. I am really shocked by this news. Why, you ask yourself.. Why such a beautiful guy, why did he fall into such a depression. It's unfortunate and very bad. I sympathize with the family and I hope that his son takes over his beautiful character and soul. I hope they get over this one day or can give it a place. I'm sorry so sorry

He was just on J.Hud's TV show smh and why right before Christmas? Anybody who watched him and listened to him could see he loved and adored his wife and kids. I am very sorry to hear you have suffered such a great loss. In my late teens over a few years I lost all of my family but my Dad. One after another, old and young, it was like a bad dream. I hated the phone, so many calls you never want. I remember the dynamics of family gatherings changing, one less plate to set, the volume, laughter diminishing. I imagine your holiday plans (if you celebrate) will look & sound different to those past, not easy. Look after yourself. Life is very fragile.

Wow, I'm in shock right now, he was such a bright, energetic, funny soul. I absolutely loved him on the Ellen show, he fit in perfectly, such a great dancer as well. This reminds me of when Robin Williams passed, it just goes to show, you can never really tell if someone is going through something rough and are extremely depressed, they can hide really well, that's why I feel it's very important to talk to people, you never know. I'm sure Twitch is lighting up the other side now with some dance moves and for just being the guy we all knew and loved him for here in the physical world.
