Was he struggling with his sexuality?Often men will marry and have kids in an attempt to fight their same sex urges.Especially when they come from the church.They fight very hard to be what the world considers normal.Not to mention he was famous so even dating someone of the same sex would have been difficult for him.I'm sure his privacy meant allot to him.Im not trying to be insensitive. However,I know this story all too well.I ts so sad that he went out like this.I think suicide is extremely selfish.I hope his family heal in time.

This is so heartbreaking but I think what we are going to learn is that Twitch was likely dealing with some deep depression. Think about this…he got his start on So You Think You Can Dance years ago. He was just a young guy who loved dancing, really didn’t think he was good enough to make a career of it but his mom convinced him otherwise. He turned out to be a big hit on the show, he was the reason I watched, I lovvved to see him dance, I absolutely loved his passion and loved watching him get better and better with every performance, he learned how to take his street dancing to a professional level by learning different dance techniques and he nailed them all. The show gave him so much exposure, he was a big fan favorite. He went on to do some other things after the show, other opportunities including being a judge on the show but his BIGGEST CAREER BREAK was landing the job on the Ellen DeGeneres show, first as her DJ and then she gave him the position of Executive Producer which was a HUGE and awesome opportunity for him because the Ellen Show was a HUGE hit, she had great ratings year after year and the show won all kinds of awards! Ellen loved Twitch, the viewers loved him and he was totally in his element on that huge platform. He joined the show in 2014 and stayed with the show until it ended this past May 2022, just seven months ago. He started out making 500k a season and after two seasons Ellen was paying him one million dollars per season, it was a dream come true for him, he was making great money doing what he loved and having fun at work everyday, the fans loved him and he and Ellen became good friends thru those years. Ellen said recently that since her show has been cancelled she’s done a lot of crying, just being really down about it. Ellen DeGeneres is very well off financially but losing her show has devastated her…just think about how Twitch must have been feeling, loosing the biggest opportunity of his life doing what he loved to do on a hit tv show, becoming the Executive Producer of that tv show, having his name rolling in the credits under Ellen’s and then suddenly having that taken away with very little notice, no longer having the money that he was making that allowed him to take great care of his family financially, not knowing what was next or if he’d ever have an opportunity like that again. All of those things would be heavy for most ppl and often times for men with wives and children, it can bring upon a very heavy level of depression. Ppl are saying that something is not right, he was such a happy guy but I know from experience that many ppl hide their severe depression behind a smile and they are able to act totally normal around others but behind closed doors the depression is emotionally and mentally crippling! Its all so heartbreaking because he was such an awesome guy, a young man who worked hard and made his dreams come true beyond belief and in a very short period of time, only to have it suddenly taken away. I could be totally wrong but I don’t think there was any fowl play or any other conspiracy theory. Suicide happens because an emotionally suffering person wants to permanently quiet the mental pain and anguish they feel every waking moment. This is so heartbreaking for so many of us because he was such a light in our lives, its just so very sad that no one could be the light he needed to pull him back from that dark place in his mind. 🙏🏽😔❤️

@Handleisnotavailable12 жыл бұрын
@@sinahaase9923 the loss of a job indeed triggers depression and anxiety in parents. When he was asked about the show he sounded and looked very unsettled. Financial stress is a significant risk factor for suicide. Look it up. He was the head of his household and landing an opportunity of this magnitude was life changing financially. On the course of almost a decade he made financial commitments and had a lifestyle that was now being impacted by the cancellation. He was probably struggling with landing another opportunity to replace that one and felt like a failure. Anxiety gets the best of you and tells you you won't find a job and will be in the streets. Many su!cides happen towards the end and beginning of a new year. Inflation is insane at the moment. It is tough for parents as it is, let alone when you live in California that is so expensive. I take it that you aren't a parent. It is absolutely devastating and terrifying not knowing how you will sustain your children. It is heartbreaking thinking you will lose the house and will have to move the kids from their environment. He most likely felt like a failure and was desperate. All of these reasons listed in the post are indeed cause for his decision. Financial issues triggers depression and anxiety. Depression is the leading cause of su!cide.

Twitch was blessed with such amazing talent and charisma. He had such a bright future ahead of him. Sadly we only knew his public side. It just breaks my heart to think that his pain pushed him to end his life and leave his family and friends. So hard to process this…it doesn’t make sense. I pray that he’s finally at peace now. May God have mercy on him. Condolences to his family.

It is absolutely gut wrenching to watch this and see such a huge smile on his face, hear his laughter and love for all things yet know that something inside him was just not right…. May he be at peace

I was shocked to hear the news about Twitch! RIP to a caring humble man..I was a fan since he was on SYTYCD the first time he was on and didn't watch the show when he was kicked off..I admired him coming back and won! I watched that season. I pray he found peace on the other side 🙏

This is why we must be kind to other people. Everyone is fighting a silent battle. We have to check in on those around us, ask how they are or if they need anything.

First, RIP❤ Second, none of us were there and don't know what happened but can we use some common sense? An autopsy can be performed fairly quickly but generally a ruling on a death takes longer than THE SAME DAY YOU DIE, no? No toxicology report? Some deaths are fairly obvious but they are still investigated. Why is this being moved so quickly? Something is not right.

I'm from the Netherlands and when I saw this news I was immediately shocked. He was so nice and kind and I still see him at Ellen's with his son. He had such a wonderful beautiful family. I am really shocked by this news. Why, you ask yourself.. Why such a beautiful guy, why did he fall into such a depression. It's unfortunate and very bad. I sympathize with the family and I hope that his son takes over his beautiful character. I hope they get over this one day or can give it a place. I'm sorry so sorry

It’s more than that. I am 100% the main reason he took his own life is his life “Post Ellen Degeneres Show Discontinuation”. I bet he was leading an expensive life while he was working with Ellen, because he was making tons of money from it, and suddenly bam. That income stopped and he couldn’t fund the life he was leading with his wife and care for them like before. I am quite certain this is the main reason, because I have been in this kind of situation and it put me in an extreme depression. I used to earn 4000$ per month for a full year and suddenly, bam, all that income is gone and I went into full depression, I disappeared from everybody’s life, because I was leading a costly life because I was able to fund it (Luxury Apartment, nice clothes, partying every weekend, good socials). He went through the same when Ellen Degeneres show stopped. Especially when he has children and one coming on the way, which adds to the expenses he had, he didn’t want to go back to living a normal life. RIP to him. I am sure he would’ve gotten better opportunities in the future, he just needed to be positive and patient.

I am absolutely devastated to hear this sad, sad news. I have been following Twitch from his days on So You Think You Can Dance to his days on Ellen. My heart is broken for his family, for his wife and his children. He was an amazingly talented young man. I loved watching the dance videos with him and his wife. Suicide is never ever the answer to whatever one may be going through. God be with his loved ones in these dark days ahead. This is such a tragedy. I am hurt.

I feel like Twitch was happy and loved his life and what he brought to others. I think we can all agree that we all have dark times where we question our purpose and some days are more unbearable than others. I just hope that in his sorrows, he felt comfort knowing that his family loved and cherished him. P.S. We gotta find a way to help people that can't always share what is going on inside.

Twitch had that rare energy to him that every so often you get to see i wont believe this is true to me this is gut wrenching and really crushes me there wont be another ive watched him when he first appeared on so you think you can dance in 2008 through step up 3 to his recent judge on so you think you can dance to commercial to a ton of apearances. He did everything with a smile and it was so damn contagious i dont believe for a second he was battling with suicide theres more to the story i just cant seem to believe this man took his own life no signs just pure happiness and love in his 2 days before tik tok vid. Regardless He was always making you want to dance. Twitch ill carry your name till im dead RIP legend youll be greatly missed and forever a dancing icon 🕊

Suicide is a dark spirit seeking anyone to attach itself to - it takes you in bits and pieces, then it catches you off guard, and swallows you whole - unexpectantly! I went through it. May God bless his family with comfort and grace. May Twitch rest in total light, never to experience darkness again!
