We were on Sky Princess last week. We did not get sick. I was amazed at the number of people that skipped both the hand washing station and hand sanitizer when entering the buffet. This would ot be a problem on ships if everyone simply washed their hands.

I felt so badly for the people on that ship

Knowing that passengers continue to get sick, I'm not sure why Princess doesn't reinstate serving the passengers at the buffet. It's certainly worried trying.

At just about every post-Covid cruise, at some point I have stopped and looked around at hundreds of people in line to embark, or on the Promenade, or the crush of folks on the Lido deck, and breathed a prayer of thanksgiving for the blessed return to normalcy. I'm so grateful to be on the other side of masking, especially being able to understand people and see their faces!

Hi Don, I am struggling to find non-US owned cruises ships. Can you help out with some choices? I'm aware of Fred Olsen and MSC. I believe this would be a much appreciated video topic for your Canadian viewers.

Carnival doing the math. 30 min earlier depart = 30 min earlier casino opening. x 20 ships = a lot of extra $$$$$$.

Sadly most cruise lines didn't keep some of the protocols in place like serving in the buffet and pushing hand washing. Perhaps it they did, we would see fewer "gastronomical" outbreaks.

Don, I've noticed some crew responsible for cooking pizzas & burgers don't wear gloves on many cruise lines. Undoubtedly, wearing gloves when handling food should be mandatory.

but many still don't follow proper protocol with gloves. Touching their face, etc.

I was on a Panama canal cruise on the Norwegian Joy during the problems of the Diamond Princess. I watched it on television from the ship, wondering what was going to happen when we docked at L.A. It was a madhouse and the dock workers did not want to even touch our luggage. We were lucky to get home. The last four days of the cruise, every one was coughing. When we did get home , no one wanted to get near us .Hard to believe it was already five years ago.

Maybe Don just enjoys experimenting with word choices. I think it's clever, and ignorance is a strong word to use for such slighted vocabulary uses. Though you are obviously a genius, many of Don's listeners, especially myself, fall short of your elite category. We are able to enjoy his cruise-themed news with little concern of the perfection that you indicate is required.

Hi Don I don’t why you ask us to leave a comment when you just erase them and don’t read them,I think Canadians need to see where Donald Trump is going with his tarriffs ,yes he has paused for now but if it comes back we need to stay in our own country.and not be going to the states,we need to stick together if it happen’s Don!
