This shit has got me tearing up. RP Boo is right: Rashad had the magic touch of soul, truth, and swagger. Its really something special what came out of Chicago. Such a special moment in dance music that made waves across the world, and continues to influence music production to this day. RIP Rashad, and a huge 'thank you' to the orginal Footwork pioneers, and to those who continue to push the sound.

I still think about DJ Rashad a lot. There's a part of me that hopes that there can be a compilation of unreleased tracks he was working on a la Donuts.
