Paul, my favorite line from this video-although it was a great video overall-was that you’re feeling better from the last episode. It’s natural to feel down at times, but sometimes we need to let the coaster roll to the bottom to be excited for when it rolls to the top again. I hope you know that you inspire a s**t load of people and also entertain many more. There will always be haters, and unfortunately they are the ones that hate on others cause they are dissatisfied with their lives. The people hating on you aren’t actual mountain bikers, they’re people that might ride, but they’re actually posted up on a computer 12 hours a day in their moms basement. Don’t worry about the trash talk, just shrug it off and try to focus on you having fun and everything will be well. Thank you for your videos and inspiration, entertainment and transfer of stoke that gets me excited to try something knew. And nice job on the new slab man!!

all he needs to do is stretch his legs, they are crouched over to far down, thats whats keeping him from puting his weight in the center, i think mike from pink bike just did a exelent vid on this (body position), its definatly the best video on body position out there so far. which also leads me into tip #2, once he is standing up straight, he can start using his hips int he turns, he is bending over his knee but his hip tends to still be a bit stationary, twist the hips

The irony is Patagonia encourages people to use their equipment till it’s toast and repair it along the way. Teaching techniques is great, making mountain biking in to a brand race of the newest is the only way to be is super lame.
@SuperAaron99

Some Patagonia gloves I bought last winter had some holes in them after 3 months, I took it to the store (Vancouver) so they would repair since it’s something they brag about a lot. They said they didn’t do repairs there and they would fly them to California, it took a couple of months to come back repaired with a tag from a third party shop. Would have been way better for the environment to just buy new ones tbh, their whole repair marketing thing is super lame.
@davidmain8696
@davidmain8696 3 жыл бұрын
I have tons of Patagonia shirts from trail running races and nearly all of them are in excellent condition after as much as 12 years of wearing them for work outs. I would highly recommend them for riding since that is almost the only brand I wear since I don't have to buy them. All the gloves are from a third party, That is how most of the big companies do it,. Get over it.
@SuperAaron99
@SuperAaron99 3 жыл бұрын
@@davidmain8696 Not sure what it is I need to get over. I shared my experience with their repair service, I like the brand they make good stuff, as far as them saying they will repair your stuff to help the environment I don't know. That's what the original post was about anyway.
@davidmain8696
@davidmain8696 3 жыл бұрын
@@SuperAaron99 I apologize for being rude. I was very irritable and felt Paul was being attacked or would be embarrassed by negative feedback on his new sponsor. (I also have the same Shimano shoes and they were damaged and Shimano replaced them after I used them for 11 months. ) The repair and recycling ideal that Patagonia presents is nearly impossible to meet and puts their image and customer satisfaction at the mercy of 3rd parties since Patagonia rebrands. So I actually agree with the sentiment you made there to some degree. I'm excited that Paul has Patagonia since I've gotten dozens of items from them racing ultra trail events and none of the shorts and layered tops or gloves or hats have ever worn out after even as much as 12 years of training and racing with their systems.
@SuperAaron99
@SuperAaron99 3 жыл бұрын
@@davidmain8696 No worries! Ive had mostly good experiences with their products that's why I keep buying from them. I was just responding to the original comment about it being lame to buy new Patagonia stuff to replace old stuff because of the brand's repair and not buy new message. I mean if you don't deserve a new kit after 12 years then what's the point of anything? lol
