History needs to be taught in our schools. Everyone needs to know what happened in our past in order to heal for our future.

I spent a lot if time in public schools. We hear the name of Martin Luther King, never the name of Frederic Douglass, the fugitif slave, the Abolitionist who fought for the rights of the Blacks.
