I remember when Sergeant CooCoo gave us the order of having moonshine drinks all night long on his tab. It was after we defeated the Moontsnaz (Moon's Special Forces with Russkiy ties) two clicks north off the coast of Nonsenseland, south west of WTFistan near Europa. Battle of the Cheesecakes was a hard won and a glorious battle. We taught those Moontsnaz a lesson the American way. I am a God damn lucky son of b*tch to be alive thanks to this Canadian Sergeant Frank Gervais. Had he not been stationed on the Moon, I wouldn't be alive to see my grandchildren today. It has been an honour to serve in the BooBoo squad of the third regiment. I will never forget the good people we have lost, especially the battle hardened Colonel Bananas. God bless the US of A and its allies!

@waynesmith22872 жыл бұрын
What he should say was "I'll look into it personally. Get back to me in a couple of weeks and I will tell you how I got on." But something like that will never come from a politicians lips.
@courier69602 жыл бұрын
@@waynesmith2287 I mean if you actually were a politician gave attention to everyone and every little issue they came to you with, all you would do is rip yourself apart with everyone exploiting it and expecting you to do something about problems and issues you have nothing to do with. A politician should focus on the big issues that they actually involve themselves with or have role in and there constituents have trouble with. At some point you just have to go “yeah you should report this to the authorities or someone who can actually do something about this”. I would rather see a minister craft legislation and assistance for real veterans suffering from issues, rather than involving himself in something he has absolutely nothing to do with and both muddying the waters and disrupting anything because some news reporter asked him a random question or statement about it.

I always think how they must dislike their 'real' life to have to pretend to be someone big or important. Some people lie abt their job, they don't want to admit they're not as 'high on the ladder'..so to speak..as their neighbors or friends. I was a nurses aide for 21 years, I never lied & said I was a Nurse. Even when someone would say ,you was a nurse, I say, no, I was an aide. If you're ashamed of your job or your life, then do something to change it.

For sure. I'm not military, but I'm sure this feeling of suspicion is magnified a thousand times for the enlisted or former enlistees. Military people always have a certain...bearing about them. You can just see it, and feel it. It's in their eyes and their speech and the way they move. It's as present as the man or woman themselves are. The milirary has a way of getting into a person's bones. Few valor thieves can imitate it because they didn't actually go through the experiences that generate and cement such a bearing.
