Remembrance Sunday 2014, London: The Military Bands

Some footage featuring the military bands taking part in the UK's national Remembrance Ceremony at the Cenotaph in London on Sunday 9 November 2014.
Taking part are four Guards Bands from the Household Division as well as bands from the Royal Marines and the Royal Air Force. Also seen are the pipers and drummers of The Highlanders.
These scenes show the bands marching from Wellington Barracks along Birdcage Walk to Whitehall.
The title scene is a detail from the Guards Memorial on Horseguards Parade, one of three First World War Memorials which have just been upgraded to Grade I status by English Heritage. The others are The Response in Newcastle upon Tyne and the Port Sunlight War Memorial.

[00:00] The Band of HM Royal Marines plays 'Soldier an' Sailor too' after the poem of same name by Rudyard Kipling (1965 - 1936), published 1919. This Bugle March was composed by Michael McDermott & A J Piner.
[01:12] The Band of The Coldstream Guards plays 'The 3rd DG's' composed by James (possibly Thomas) Brophy (1867 - 1869). This was the Regimental March of the 3rd Carabiniers (Prince of Wales's Dragoon Guards), formed in 1922 and amalgamating in 1967 with The Royal Scots Greys to form The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards. Brophy was Bandmaster of the 1st Battalion, The Royal Scots Fusiliers.
[02:29] The Band of The Scots Guards plays 'The Liberators' by Charles Ancliffe (1880 - 1952), written while he was Bandmaster of the First Battalion, South Wales Borderers.
[03:35] The Band of The Grenadier Guards plays the march 'Unter den Linden' composed by W A Crosse.
[04:16] The Central Band of the RAF plays 'National Emblem' by Edwin Eugene Bagley (1857 - 1922), composed in 1902 and published in 1906.

Great Video as usual bigdrum! Do you know what is the March the Band Of The Coldstream Guards are playing? I've heard it before on parades but I seem to have forgot the title. Hjaltland60 Thanks for your reply Hjaitland60. The March is then for 3rd Dragoon Guards which is why it sounds very Cavalry like in substance but still sounds great played by a Foot Guards Band. Thanks again!

I used to play in our village band and we did play at a remembrance parade once with a professional army parade master and I was terrified as he shouted his orders at us and I am not even in the army!!!
