Remington 7615 Pump Action Rifle: Excellent All Rounder/ Prepper Gun.

Love this little Remington 7615 pump action rifle chambered for 223/5.56 NATO. This rifle is the ultimate all rounder in my opinion due to its quick shooting action and its sturdy design. The Remington 7615 makes the perfect addition to any gun safe whether its for a farmer, prepper or recreational shooter. A super unique firearm truly one of a kind and really fun to shoot. Greetings from the USA. Great video. The 7615 is a favorite of mine for the reasons you mentioned; besides being a fun gun to shoot, it is highly effective as a defensive and hunting rifle. And for me personally, it is also legal in all 50 states of the USA (should the laws regarding semi-automatic rifles change here in the USA someday). Some people may ask why a pump action? They might ask why not just get a bolt action? Personally, I like the pump action with an ar15 magazine vs a bolt action with an ar15 magazine as the pump action allows for quick follow up shots. The only 'potential' problem I found with the 7615 is that parts are impossible to find. Since Remington stopped making them years ago all parts inventories have been drained. So, I bought a second one - both as a rifle and if needed a source of parts. Always on the lookout for a third.... lol happy shooting!

Cheers mate I think this rifle is the ultimate gap filler between a bolt action and semi auto definitely quicker then a bolt action but not as rapid as a semi auto. Great for hunting but can also take on that more tactical aesthetic if desired . Smart move there man 2 is always better then 1 and 3 is better then 2 really wish Remington continued making these. G'day mate good video. I've had a 7615 for a few years now and could definatly recomend the pistol grip, make the mag release closer to your hand. Also i find the gun can get sub MOA accuracy at 100m with 62grain and bigger rounds with the 1in9 twist

ditched mine due to serviceability. To take down the weapon you need multiple sizes of Alan keys. It also heats up real quick. Currently the resale on these make switching to a WFA or an SCSA a really easy transition

Also, just as far as being a survivalist/prepper weapon, something to consider would be the pump action getting gunked up in a muddy or even sandy environment. However, this is just a theory, I haven't tested one personally yet. Are they easy to take down properly to give it a good clean?

Would love to see a mud test on one of these mate I think it would hold up rather well as working the action requires elbow grease rather then gas pressure allowing you to use more force to get the mechanism into battery when obstructed by grit. Quite easy to strip down nd clean with a few simple tools.

The hammer spring and hammer plunger are prone to corrosion. This can prevent the plunger from striking the hammer and firing pin. It happened in a mates rem 7600.

As an Australian I find it so strange so many Americans always regard this rifle as rare or "unheard of", due to the fact you guys have the type of gun laws Aussie shooters could only dream about🤙🤙🤙It is definitely a one of a kind rifle that Remington should put back into production ASAP because it really is a little BEAUTY!!! couldn't agree more mate the design is super user friendly and reliable. Honestly mate I cannot fault this rifle in any way however with the prices I have seen on them recently and some rather grotesque mods done to the ones that are for sale I would opt for the Tiapan X by SCSA instead. However if you see a plane jane 7615 for sale for cheaper and in newish condition I would highly recommend getting one it won't let you down. Cheers for watch dude.🤙🤙🤙🤙

Fort another $700 you're into WFA1-L territory and then not toof far from that for an Oceania Precision SP-25. 1:09/9:06 - Please note that this is NOT a .223/5.56 compatible rifle, it is .223rem commercial ammunition ONLY, attempting to chamber and fire 5.56x45mm cartridge will result in an out of battery discharge, due to chamber size and pressure differences, that may permanently damage your rifle, and can lead to serious bodily harm for the operator. .223REM Chamber can NOT safely fire 5.56x45mm, only .223REM .223WYLDE Chamber can safely fire both .223REM and 5.56x45mm, whilst maintaining match grade accuracy 5.56x45mm Chamber can safely fire both.223REM and 5.56x45mm, but will be less accurate using .223REM ammunition due to chamber size differences If you want to fire Surplus 5.56 ammo (F1 Ball) then I'd recommend a WFA1 or SP15 5:00 - They're banned over here in WA because (assumedly) someone told their local MP that "American cops use these scary assault pump action rifles that take scary assault magazines" so it got thrown into the Act at the last minute. Funnily enough the 7600 which is the .308 version that uses a crappy propeitary magazine is still legal, and offers 'more firepower'. But now we can get the SCSA Taipan over here which is a pump action .223Wylde that takes STANAG Mags (30rnders are still legal over here), so it has been surpassed. Also if you're looking to get rid of the 10/30 steel mag i'll be happy to take it off your hands :)

Thanks for the input bro but I highly doubt Remington would go to all the effort of stamping 5.56 NATO/223rem on the barrel of this riffle if it didn't safely cycle both types of ammunition as well as clearly stating in the owner/operator manual that the 7615 chambers both 5.56 NATO and 223rem.Hahahaha the mag looked cool but was well past its prime has since been sent to the scrap heap.
