Reminiscing Need for Speed: Carbon

This is a video discussing a game I played back when I was a kid and it was new, Need for Speed: Carbon. This video covers my experience playing the game on an original Xbox 360 as well as my thoughts on the gameplay and racing. Find out if I think it holds up well against the great Need for Speed: Most Wanted, or has history not been kind.

My favorite NFS in the series. This game shaped my music taste and love for electronic music in general as a kid, probably one of the reasons why I so much loved Mirror's Edge and it's soundtrack in the future. I also think that the last solid NFS in the Black Box era was ProStreet since it had so much personality and unique feel to it.

thanks, Cam. Viewed a longplay of this last week, and your takes were pretty much my takeaway. That said, i like the canyon races and dig the roadside environmental impact/destruction. As colliding with a gigantic restaurant sign, and watching it come crashing down is unique. Dont know if *Most Wanted* had this element included? Crazy, because 3 hrs before you posted this video, i placed a bid for this game on Ebay. For what it is, it's somewhat expensive. Take good care.

Thanks for watching Vin! Yes, Most Wanted also had that feature of crashing into billboards, signs, etc. Very similar mechanics overall to this game, just on a larger scale. Interesting to see the cost a bit high for this game, but hope you win on your bid! Have a good one!

It's a great solid sequel to "NFS Most Wanted" I love both of them & bought both of them for under $10 many moons ago. I own every console "Need For Speed" game, with the exception of the 2015 always online one, as I boycott live service games.

I have those older titles but have yet to play, loved me some Hot Pursuit back in the day!
