Admittedly I feel it's hard to grasp just how transformative some of these experiences were unless you were there playing them during this era. Nearly every game was as it's best and each experience felt unique to the last. Not like today with all the trend chasing and GaaS wannabes.

I love the Vegas Series, Great Singleplayer and addictive and fun multiplayer+ Vegas is one of my go to co-op split screen game. The only negative is that the story in both 1-2 is cinda meh and the first level in vegas 1 is really dull..Aka Cod ich. Fun fact This game offers the ability for you to use your xbox vision to upload your face onto an character in the multiplayer.

thanks for the video, brother. Yes, I vividly remember reading the Game Informer issue, profiling *Rainbow 6: Patriots.* Anyway, i do have one question regarding a certain 8th generation Tom Clancy title, which actually did release: What is your official take on *Ghost Recon: Wildlands* ?

Glad you enjoyed this one Vin! I have played Ghost Recon: Wildlands 2 times and have footage up on the channel of me playing the Beta. Perhaps it's worth doing a reminiscing video on it sometime in the future. I really enjoyed the game despite it being a more co-op focused entry. I played it through entirely by myself and found the controls, world and story to be pretty engaging. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for it's sequel Breakpoint, which was so horrible I actually quit on the game after a few hours, but I have heard it's been patched up since and is almost completely different from what it was at launch, so maybe worth revisiting.

thanks for the word. Yes, i actually did view those 1 or 2 GR Wildlands gameplay vids, about a year ago. However, i had wondered what your final verdict was. As I've stated previously, pertaining game titles, I value your opinion and Dean Thompson's opinion above pretty much every other YT content creator. Unfortunately, as profoundly as both of you covered the 7th generation, the 8th generation of games were rather underrepresented by both of you in comparison. That said, i completely get why that is: Life and life-changing factors getting in the way of gaming. In addition to GR Wildlands, Prey (2017), Battlefield 1, Life Is Strange, Dishonored 2, Rage 2, and Deus Ex MD, are a few of the other 8th gen titles, I kinda wondered where you stood on. All in due time, Cameron. I'll probably hit you up on those other games, in a future posting. A 'Reminiscing' vid for GR Wildlands? I wouldn't be mad. Take care and game on.

@@xman777b wildlands was very fun but felt kind of unpolished at certain points. however i found the crossover events (predator and R6 siege) to be the most fun and memorable, the story never had as much impact as even those 2-3 mission side objectives.

when my dad bought my brother and I our 360 back in 07 he bought us 2 games. This was one of the games he bought us, and I was left in awe with how "real" it looked. Shit even typing this gives me the hype I had in that very moment from firing up R6 Vegas for the first time.

7th Gen's visual jump was just massive, it's a testament that many of these games still look phenomenal to this day. I really miss this era so much!

this game totally warped my vision on Las Vegas... thinking itd be massive lmfao... the strip is literally one street, and fremont street is just burnt. hahaha

Haha, it's quite a trashy place for real; it's just that everything is lit up like a Christmas tree. Personally, I'm ready to go home after spending 2-3 days there.

i still play R6 Vegas 2 on my xbox series x, i find it way more fun than terrorist hunt or training grounds ever was (r6 Siege). hard mode will have your heart racing even when theres 1 bot left because every bot is lethal if you get caught off guard. the sniper bots in story mode are crackshots tho, can get annoying.

As a single player focused guy, I never was able to get fully into Siege. I know friends who still play it to this day, but they mostly only play multiplayer games. Hard to believe Siege will turn 10 next year and we still have no word on a new Rainbow Six game. I hope the next one is more similarly in line with Vegas.

Still mad we didn't get Rainbow Six Patriots lol. Really don't care for the direction Ubisoft's Tom Clancy games have gone in lately. Shame there's no indie/AA spiritual successor to the Vegas games.
