I played remnant 1 religously. This was the most excited I was for a sequal probably ever in my life. Maxed out 3 characters with all perks, upgrades and cosmetics in rem1. Got to say I agree with you mostly. Remnant 2 just doesn't have the same feeling I got from the first 1. I didn't feel a desire to play after completing the story once on veteran and then the one run on the awakened king dlc. who knows, this might just be the dark souls 2 of the series. Where they come off the mark a bit. If they can give us a final, technically fourth installment that gets everything right, then it will still go down as a top tier series of games.

No, one game doesn't make up for failed prequels. This game is a lemon. It is fun, but it has no depth or polish. Compare it to Lies of P; super hard game, but is was super rewarding. When you defeated a boss, you actually got awarded large amounts of souls. This game gives you 500scrap 😂 Trash Quality of Life for Endgame, and I beat it Solo on Veteran, Nightmare, and Apocalypse. If the game wasn't broken, I'd try Hardcore. But I'd rather never touch this game again.

Warhammer 40k Darktide is literally the exact same game with a different skin. Aliens: Fireteam Elite is another example of exact same gameplay just reskinned.

@@StanimusGaming Can't argue with the Aliens: Fireteam Elite example, its remarkably similar looking. While I don't think there is anything wrong with Remnant 2's gameplay loop, especially as it is like its first game, which came out before these games of similar gameplay, I can understand being tired of the same feeling gameplay over years. I probably would had been bored too, had I played a lot of these other games.

Not to mention the gameplay is like trying to watch paint dry. So clunky. And doesn't make sense. Enemies will just wreck you in 2 seconds flat. Atleast remove stamina or something fuck. What's the point of having stamina? Just to make us want to punch a wall? Wtf

I've played no shit like 20 minutes of this game and I'm already rage quitting. The mellee is so terrible and doesn't actually aim towards enemies. If you accidentally let go of left trigger. You start swinging mellee. Too many enemies. Not enough ways to heal. I find myself reloading checkpoints because I used a dragon heart. The game needs some serious readjustments to be considered fun. Sorry. But definitely 6/10 so far mechanics are whack af

The main issue was that you were coming at it from the wrong angle People say it's a souls game but in reality it's not, it's more like Skyrim with guns I had a lot of fun with it once I realized you can't play it like a souls game and found out that there not that much consequence to death

So you play a game for like 30 minutes, don't even do a single puzzle or boss fight and then claim that it's a repackaged game like Darktide and Aliens Fireteam despite the games being nothing alike? You clearly went into this game thinking it was one thing that it wasn't and immediately had a negative view on it despite it literally being nothing like what you thought it was. It's not a looter shooter or a horde shooter. It's a souls like with a heavy emphasis on difficult boss fights, exploration, and puzzles. This take is as meaningless and dumb as someone saying "Dark souls is just repackaged Left 4 Dead". It's so evident that you went into this game choosing that you weren't gonna like it by the fact you're annoyed literally the moment you have control of your character. No one acts like that unless they've chosen before they've launched the game that they aren't going to like it. If you really had that much of a problem with "slow starts" then you would have hated Starfield as it has a slow start that is way longer and way worse

​@@Cy4nModI-Frame Stutter, super prevelant on Apocalypse. No Parry. Garbage Stamina even at maxed out traits. Takes over 72hrs of dedicated Archetype grinding with Mudtooth & XP Rings to get the original 10, followed by a stupid Archon AT. The devs were so drunk on Easter Egg Hunting that they left out the actual story telling. You never see Ford again. LOL The NPCs are hollow, and don't have any new dialogue after finding Clem.

​@@Cy4nModThe mechanics actually glitch, like Merciless' Bleed right now which makes the game not function as it should. Input delay, input not registering at all, no hipfire, missed hit reg, screen clutter, frame drops, and mediocre graphics really make this game annoying. Oh and the constant waves of enemies glitch on N'erud. 😂 Everything being an EE makes you spend more time on YT or checking Game Files than playing the game. AND THEY DESIGNED IT THAT WAY.

@@nighthawkviper6791 There is no stutter the game just has s placed at a different part of the roll compared to dark souls. Why would there be parry this is a shooter. Sounds like you need to learn to manage your stamina better, I don't even use the stamina traits and I never run out of stamina. It takes like 10 hours to get all of the archetypes to level 10, 1 world start to finish will get an archetype to 10 if you're only using one or if your second is maxed WITHOUT any exp boosting. The secrets and puzzles are a huge part of what makes the game fun. If you're talking about the overarching narrative yeah it's weak but the individual world storylines are fantastic
