I like the concept. Im also picturing some flash between the bugger and the rabbit strip, and some eyes up front. Lots you could so with this combo.

There is a lot you can do with this fly. I like the idea of some eyes up front and maybe some epoxy or resin head around the eyes. I can see many color variations for many different species. Thanks for the feedback. - Ian Anderson

Tie a similar fly I call it a Woolly Wonker,tied with a crossed eyed cone & rubber legs,very nice tie,try it in all white,tight lines 🤙
