The living room with the chairs and the fire place looks so cozy. I love it too. You could always put candles in the fire place. Just a thought. I see you as a "pioneer woman" my friend. :-)

These are great ideas for the fireplace . I did something once that was so wonderful . I put a flickering candle bulb in a small lamp minus the shade . I placed it inside the middle of the space and then went out and cut a few pine branches and put them in front of the lamp criss crossed so they hid the bulb . I ran the cord out the door seam and plugged it in. Amazing flickering firelight , so cute !!! Love your evolving life there , good luck ❤ The bulb was $8 at the box store and was a large cylinder shape bulb , not a small thing so it really made a big flickering light , very cozy .

Oh my God you did so good you never want new furniture I love antiques and vintage. My entire house is vintage from top to ceiling, including all of my clothing. I am so happy that you found such gorgeous antiques. I absolutely adore your place and didn’t know you had a little fireplace like that. Thought you just had the wood-burning stove. Been away for a while so happy to see that you are doing well.❤❤❤

The chairs are beautiful and look so nice flanking the fireplace. Good job on the mantle for the fireplace. It is very nice. The little alcove is so cozy! The China cabinet is also very nice. I can’t wait to see the item you will use for the bathroom vanity some day. It is a gorgeous piece of furniture. Second hand shopping is so much fun. Sounds like a car repair is needed quickly. Wow, that frozen waterfall was spectacular!

Amanda, your victorian chairs with the fireplace look awesome. To flashy of colors for the chairs would not be as pleasing as what you have now. The ambiance is breath taking. Your cabin is shaping up so nicely. As near as what I would have my cabin if I had one. Best fixture of this cabin is you. You make the cabin the cabin don't make you.

Can't wait to see your ideas of where everything, including your grandma's piece is going.; and that piece that will be for the bathroom too. The bookshelf and the 2 chairs and 'fireplace' area is so cozy looking. So many exciting projects and videos to look forward to. So glad for you that you've decided what to do about your car. I'm believing with you that only the perfect, knowledgeable mechanic will take on your car and that the price will be as minimal as possible; And a quick one-day repair. The chairs in the fireplace are beautiful, but I don’t know if you know you can make that fireplace look like it’s real by buying a insert electrical insert that makes it look like the fire logs are burning and now they even have it in a heater form. So it could be a win-win for real you get that total ambience plus a little heat. Love love love this set up.

Hi my friend hope you are well. Absoluutly love that chairs they are stunning. I want to give you some advice as its my business and do it everyday. Im sure the chairs are bit dusty and need a wash but its impossible due to you being remote. Take a spray bottel half with white vinegar and top up with water. Spray the couches not wet wet just light wet. The vinegar will kill any germs on it and it will make it smell fresh and not dusty. You can do this with your bed also. I add to the mix about 1 tablespoon of vanilla for extra fresh smell. You can do this on carpet also. Its just a quick fix but when summer comes I will give you a mix how to wash them outside 😊😊. Loved the video and so glad your getting advice on car❤. I personally cant wait for the bathroom and renovations🎉🎉 please give K a big hug

Totally agree with the auto advice here. I drive a Ford truck and they are very fussy when you begin to doctor them with after market parts and repair methods even on routine oil changes. I have a saying - "Just take it to Ford !! "

In regards to your Explorer, I do believe you said that there was repairs recently? I can't remember. I agree with Adam, most likely a coil problem. Not sure I would buy all new, but maybe 2 (keepinng an extra, just in case) One of the common problems that non-ford technicians make is not reflashing your PCM (power control module) and updating software. Most will reset, and call it good. Any ignition, computer replacement, timing chain repairs, etc. It's always best to have this done. Most say it's about 1/2 hour of labor. Reflashing, will remove error codes, perform a diagnostic and then input new performance calculations, and update software to latest version from Ford. Nice furniture BTW!

Food for thought. With an inexpensive propane log set, you can turn your Franklin stove into a functioning fireplace without any expense other than a propane tank, regulator, and a bit of copper line. I use arrangement in my cabin and it works. No chimney needed.

What if you took a thicker piece of birch wood and drill holes in it so you can place candles in it. Then place the wood and candles into the stove for ambiance? I have a franklin stove in storage from childhood. I like that you created the wood storage with two parts. You can have the upper wood drying and use the lower wood. Then move the upper wood down after it's completely dry.

*Adam* at Alaska Cut The Cord is 100% correct about the spark plugs and plug gaps. Motorcraft is the only plug for a Ford engine. An incorrectly gapped plug, or a plug with even the slightest hairline crack in the porcelain will cause all sorts of issues, and will lead to eventual coil damage. The only time I would stray from this rule is if the Ford has a Mazda designed engine (I'm not sure about the 3.5L). In a Mazda designed engine I would run the plug Mazda recommends for that engine in a Mazda, usually a Nippondenso or an NGK. I agree on the coil packs being factory replacement items as well, although many times the originals are built by Bosch. If you go with the original supplier for the factory part you should be good as well. Cheap plug wires/boots will also cause issues, so always make sure that you are using the factory ones if available, or Belden Wires form Napa. As a rule of thumb, if the plugs are worn, the wires/boots should be replaced at the same time. Once you get everything fixed it is important to note that it may take some drive time for the computer to readjust the fuel trim levels to optimal levels again as well. The other thing I was going to add on the last video was the random misfires and the misfires being reported on cylinders 3, 4 & 5.... If the 3.5 has a 1-2-3-4-5-6 firing order it is entirely possible that the ECM is attributing some of those misfires to the wrong cylinders if they are happening so frequently, especially at higher RPM's, since the cylinders fire so close to one another relative to time. Good job with the explanation, Adam! I'm glad we're on the same page leaning towards the coil being the *end* culprit for the misfire. -Dusty
