In today's episode, we start a new world in some respect. I travel 12,000 blocks to a remote island with only a few books and a stick of bamboo to start a new life. I'm not sure how long I'll be here, but I'm excited to see what we make of it!

History of this world:
This survival series started on July 10th 2014 on the MCPE (Minecraft Pocket Edition) App. I had quite a few MCPE videos before this series that I recorded and edited on the iPod 4th Generation. When I finally upgraded to the iPhone 5, this was when I wanted to start a Minecraft series that will last forever! I started this series on the iPhone 5 and eventually upgraded again to the iPhone 6 Plus for more power on Ep.66. MCPE on the iPhone 6 Plus served me well for a long time until the game started updating more and became even slower. This was until I bought myself a gaming laptop (Lenovo Y700) and transferred my ongoing MCPE world to Windows 10 Edition on Ep.154. Till this day, we are still surviving and thriving with builds in this world and plan to do so far into the future!

There's nothing like a fresh start in Minecraft, even if it isn't necessarily a spanking new world. I love the happy middle ground between not abandoning your world and starting anew! Just starting again with new gear is always enough to reinvigorate my personal enjoyment of this lovely game 😃 Enjoy it man!

If I may suggest, since you have a church as the donor building back at home, maybe you could have a different "religious building" out here on the island. Like an alter surrounded by tiki torches and made out of mossy cobble. Or an ominous obelisk

don't forget that cooked seaweed is a food source and a fuel source (when blocked). Edible seaweed would definitely be an island food source staple, just like fish.

Going to a new area and starting to build it up from scratch is an essencial aspect of minecraft if I want to maintain a long term world in my opinion. You need something fresh from time to time and doing it in the same world just enriches the expierence and for me it's the way to do it. I'm glad to see that you're doing the same.

Dallas you are the only KZbinr I watch every single video of whenever it comes out . I think you play Minecraft the exact way it was meant to be played. You have the most creative decorations and builds, it's also very unique to have a world that started as a mobile game. I think the one thing that might be holding you back is your old build style. This is a great idea to start fresh in the same world with a more modern and advanced building style!

It's not even that you only know how to build out of bamboo, you're just incredibly environmentally conscious so use bamboo instead of wood! Been subbed for ages and watched the first like 200+ episodes of this series, then kinda dropped off and never had the time to pick it back up, what with there being over 500 episodes, but this new start is a great way to get back on board! Dont look at skeletons!!!! Try constantly swerving and staggering your sprints while jumping as you approach them. It throw their tracking off and they usually miss 90% of their shots. Make your movement random (:

I think you should gradually make the island more overgrown with bamboo as if it's an invasive plant to the island (would make sense) and when you leave the island is covered in massive forests of it. Also perhaps you could make a giant "help" sign out of rocks on one side of the island.
