On this channel we are always out on an adventure. We specialise in yabbies also known as inland lobster, crawfish or crawdads. We love our fishing, so you'll find a number of fishing videos. We explore all of the remote places that most people can't find.
We like to go catching crabs and crabbing using handlines and traps.

The summer heat if definitely taking it's toll on the garden but it's basically free organic food. My gardening method is throwing a heap of seed in there and the toughest will survive..🤣

Hey mate not sure what you do with the carp that you catch, but they make really good fertilizer for your garden. Bury them about 8 or 10 inches deep then plant on top of them, they slowly decompose feeding all your lovely vegetables in your garden. Cheers Pete from Brisbane

Wow, you have really been striking gold with the last few dams you have been yabbing at; they have been amazing in size and quantity. I really really love these types of videos so much; I would hate to miss one. I do think I am going to have to take a break from watching yours, my heart can't take it anymore when you throw so many back in the water. I totally understand why, but for someone who is watching and drooling wishing they could have the same thing it's just jealousy that has me screaming when you throw them back. back in the 70's, i used to catch them in 4 gallon drums, with the top cut out, and many perforations in the bottom, and a bit of meat tied in the bottom as well for bait , worked well, back then we used to call them crayfish, but they were not as big as the blokes you caught ..

There use to be a Dam at Uncle Bens pet food factory Bathurst not sure if it’s still there, when I was about 14 or 15 me and a couple of mates were there wagging school we had a couple of lamb chops tied with thin string Smiddy started pulling his line in and fair dinkum about 1/2 a metre from shore this Yabbie Claw came out of the water it was a lot bigger then our hands we shit ourselves and bolted, Old Man Claw might be still around today

In Georgia, USA and well most of the south and Midwest eat them too, I just played with them as a kid I never ate them. You said one was too black and slimy and let it go what makes them unedible to you?

I would just rather be eating a nice clean one. Sometimes they can get a build up of alge on there shell which is in my opinion a little off putting but still quite edible. 👍
