I love how these world building crafting videos are becoming their own genre here on KZbin. I love how you are following in the footsteps of others like Boylei, Bill Making Stuff, etc, but you are also doing something unique and fresh. Your world building is next level with your maps, writing system, and well written engaging story. I love when you explain your build process but I also loved listening to your story while watching your build, you are very imaginative and I can't wait to see and hear more! I hope more and more people start doing stuff like this (I even have a few ideas cooking!), but in the future I hope you take your rightful space in the hall of founding father/mothers of this world crafting genre.

The creature's bark like skin also seems like muscle fiber just as well. And that face, the GAPING MAW, would horrify me if I came to face to face with it. Love it

I noticed that as well. If this creature was flesh, then it would be gross as well as scary. The fact that it is animate plantlife just makes this even more frightening. Truly the stuff of nightmares! 😱

In my head I am seeing these stories play out in a graphic novel/magazine, much like the "Metal Hurlant/Heavy Metal" from back in the 80's. If you could get an amazing artist(s), or draw it yourself, this would be super sweet!!

I haven't seen any of your other build videos or world-building stuff, but don't fall into the trap of world-building forever. Always creative awesomeness. Honestly, I miss the crafting explanations. I would go with (1) all crafting stages verbally, as usual, explained, (2) a much shorter short story, but over top of (3) a much longer visual exposé of the final, finished product, which I always want more seconds and minutes of at the end. 😂😅😮

Dude. Seriously. This is the best format for this kind of project. I watch other channels (not just modeling) and many times they say something similar to, "When you are creating your model/prop/etc, give it a story" and I will be honest, I was hearing the story and watching this come to life and it was like I was watching this come to life as it flowed through your head, out of your hands and into the medium you were making it out of. Some other channels like to describe what they are doing (which is 100% acceptable) and why but this format just "works" on a level of creation process. Not just the "how to" for techniques but also the "how to" on the thought process and creativity. Well done all around! This is an awesome way to present this type of project and I hope it continues.
@gameyybuilds Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much. It felt like a huge risk, doing a short story narration instead of explaining the build process, which is the norm for these videos. And at first it really didn't gain any kind of traction, but after doing a few more of these videos and finding more of a balance between the two styles, I feel like I'm in a groove and people are starting to find it and connect. I really appreciate your comment.
