Most channels only run about 15 minutes or so videos . Drives me friggin crazy. I miss the good ol days. Ill be watching , my new friend. Keep up the great work !! P.S. I live in washington too. I am also a cook. Ill steal that recipe. Lol. 2 weeks until I hunt black tail deer. I can hardly sleep. Lol

When you said it gives you anxiety because you don’t know which outdoor activity to choose since you are surrounded by many . I hope to feel that way some day , I love LA and it has beautiful sights but I feel as if , places and states like the ones in your videos are breathtaking . I think it has the purest way of life , air , food , foraging , etc . It’s richness without having to be the richest person . You are so blessed , but I’m sure you worked hard for what you have . Keep living the way you do , just always stay safe . Little is such a good companion and protective over you . I just found your channel and I’m so in love .

I live in VA Washington, and your videos has honestly helped me a lot getting back into fishing!! I used to do it so much as a young teen, I'm 20 now but it feels good to go salmon fishing right next to my house and anything else reslly steelhead which I'm excited for winter run!!! But I'll be watching your new and old videos to learn more and more about fishing, I really want to do what you do. Go exploring new places, and fishing for all sorts of fish. So exciting just watching your videos keep the great work up!!

I've caught some big trout in that lake. There's a hex hatch about August 10th. Fish sunset with a headlamp because you'll fish until dark. There's cutthroat, bows, and big browns. I use a yellow hexagenia. I've had 30 strikes in a night there.

By the way... Excellent video! Pro tip - use rod holders and make some out riggers that slip into the holders, you can adjust and lock out rigger in or out of water. I did that to get more stability for standing and pulling up crab traps at Netarts. Pro tip 2 - just like you carry 2 gear rods, bring 2 fly rods, one for drys, one for nymphs and streamers. GREAT VID. I love that lake...

Honest about the parasites, it’s a shame we can no longer drink deeply from rivers lakes and streams throughout the USA. Canada to, it’s ironic that a few Bushcraft KZbinr’s pet dog’s have passed away with the same complications of tumors, both dogs relied on river and lake waters to survive and stay hydrated. The tubers boiled everything and or iodine tabs for themselves. Just saying, especially California, I contracted Giardiasis, shits and fever, vomiting all night, like a super flu!!!🤮🤢. I'm going out on a weekender tonight hunting for King Browns and Rainbohos. Since I live in Salt Lake now... gotta fish for different types of fish, but Oooooh do we have Tons of fish. When I call my brother in OR, he used to say he's not interested in little 1 pound fish, until he came out here. I would send pics from the river, and say, I enjoy catching 30 one pound fish then spend all day and catch one 30 pound fish. When he caught wind of the fish we have ALL over the place here, he changed his tune. >>> What model is your OT kayaks ?
