Remove any background in 2 MINUTES in Davinci Resolve - NO GREEN SCREEN

Masking a subject (especially a person) is usually a really tiring job where you usually have to change the mask path frame by frame but in this video I quickly go through two methods using which you'll be able to remove the background from most videos in just a few minutes without using any green screens. Perfect for your youtube videos or any masking that needs to be done quickly!

As of Resolve 18.5, both features are *only available in the STUDIO Version of Resolve* - for visibility, is it possible to specify ''DaVinci Resolve STUDIO'' in your video title?

Davinci Resolve is crazy! But I do believe this must only be in the Studio version, not the free version. Which, if so, you should acknowledge in the video and title, so people don't waste time watching.

i am getting issue flicker issue in both depth map and magic mask. For e.g if i track my subject using the magic mask... the overlay also flickers and in the final video when i remove the background , it's not completely removed, it flickers in few frames throughout the video..any fix for that??

Just came a cross your channel Apurv. Nice! Can you suggest what to do if I have a rendered video where the edges of the green screen cut our are still blurry. Can I remove the green edges from a rendered video ( I do not have the original video with a speaker on a green screen).

If you mean the green colors of the edges are still showing, you can key the green screen once again. Or use clone stamp tool to get rid of the edges

The feature depth map is only available in the Studio Version, and also magic mask. If you have free version you should use normal "manual" mask using keyframes

MAgic mask is also in fusion. I know a lot of people will avoid fusion where possible but as somebody who loves it, magic mask there makes work so much easier

My specs are Ryzen 3 2200G ( No dedicated GPU). As long as you have at least 1GB of intergrated GPU, resolve should run but it'll be quite slow
