Thank you so much for sharing this information. Recently, I used a blue toner in my hair color, which I apparently didn't mix well. I had chunks of blue stain scattered throughout my light blond hair. Disaster. Your method worked wonderfully.

Toner stays in mine for a while and it never works, no matter what I always go purple/blue/grey. I’ve been going to a dedicated hairdresser but she’s almost 2 hours away so I had to go to my old one for convenience and she left it on for 15 mins😔 BUT your video saved me, it was all gone with the dish soap, I had an event the next day so I was beyond happy I didn’t show up looking silly! Thank you🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

If you wash your hair, the regular shampoo after not before doing the dawn, the regular shampoo may add some of that unwanted color you were trying to remove. But you can condition the hair after, but you need to shampoo regular shampoo before.

Great video. What is it that hairdressers do the freaking toners?? I hate them!! I am 57 n been blonde forever n went through it all n found a good one n she corrected a bad job n it was beautiful then a few times into it she began adding toners( glosses) wth ever! I always hated it it felt dark so I told her no more! I loved it for years then I moved n went through finding someone again n just moved n haven’t touched my hair in 3 years n went to get it blonde (bleached) n came out totally brassy n called her to redo n she refused so I waited 6 weeks n started using purple shampoo by it’s a 10 n it got brighter I just went back today for her to do and bump it up n now I’m freaking darker. Totally ashy no brightness I was brighter before today with the brassy. So I’m about to try this. I will Not get toner again idc what she says. I love it without a toner idc what they say. I could tell a big difference 🙌🏻 Thank you for sharing.
@MirandaRosanne3 жыл бұрын
Ugh I know!! I’ve had the same problem. I know that when they’re done bleaching, sometimes the hair is too yellow/orange and they need to balance that out with a toner BUT I now tell them I don’t want to be ashy because it feels dark. I tell them I want beige blonde or a very neutral blonde. Hope this helped!!
@tammyduke42133 жыл бұрын
@@MirandaRosanne I’ve told them. I have moved and been 2 times to the same stylist and I hate changing as my other stylist for over 20 years. I told her I do Not like toners glazes or glosses idc how good they are I know what I want and my hair. She finally got me blonde just pretty buttery blonde. I want that pop that brightness without any blended without toning period. So this new one after 3 years of nothing I told her and showed her my photos and I’m nowhere even close after almost 10 weeks of waiting 6 weeks as she toned it to its darker now with no brightness after highlighting over what was golden orange color. It should of been at least brighter but no I’m darker with still golden orange but now blended in darker. It DONT make good sense. After I called her after my first appointment n told her it’s not bright or lifted enough I agreed to remain that way for 6 weeks. Now she did highlights n I’m darker. I’ve tried stripping it I’ve bought brightening shampoo and it’s still darker. I told her when I first looked in mirror “I’m darker” she just combed it out n put product in it. She didn’t say a word. Idk what to do at this point?? I feel I’m just dull blonde and want it all bumped up that’s all I want. It’s aggravating because I told her I hate toners. My hair is healthy I left it alone for 3 years getting trims and I don’t want to jeopardize my healthy hair. I need a bleach wash I believe in my own knowledge of my hair but I probably should wait? I’ve thought about doing it myself but I’m too scared. I had it done about a inch from roots all over blonde supposedly but it’s not blonde it’s honey caramel dull to me. I just can’t get use to it. It was brighter before she did it the 2nd time
@MirandaRosanne3 жыл бұрын
@@tammyduke4213 It's super frustrating when you spend so much time and money getting your hair done just to leave with something you didn't want. If your stylist is ignoring you when you clearly say "I'm darker" that's a problem because she doesn't care! Not sure how you can make it any clearer to her. Just try to reiterate that you want to be bright blonde and be able to tell the difference!! I hope you are able to get it to the blonde you want.

That is so funny I showed my hairstylist the same two photos and my hair turned out almost exactly like yours. I wish she would’ve not put the toner in it like you’re saying it was a beautiful bright blonde and then for whatever reason she toned it and it turned into like an ashy boring blah hair color

1/2 cup ascorbic acid powder or 15-30 white, powder-based vitamin C tablets, crushed (liquid-based capsules won’t dissolve as well, and colored tablets could leach food coloring into your hair) dye-free clarifying shampoo shower cap mixing bowl In your mixing bowl, mix together the powdered vitamin C with the dye-free clarifying shampoo. Remember that any food coloring or product dyes will interfere with the finished hair color, so steer clear of any artificial colors in your hair mask. Once the ingredients are well-blended, apply the mask to your hair. Give extra care to roots and ends. Pop on your shower cap and leave the hair mask on for 30 to 60 minutes. I did 40 minutes 5/5/22 Rinse well with lukewarm water. If desired, follow up with a hydrating conditioner to prevent dryness after using this treatment.. I used it to get the yellow out now it's orange. Lol 😂 White plain VITAMIN C is the key
